Lovely village inn with a very good restaurant and nice, boutique style rooms . Service was excellent and friendly. Parking available in a small but ample car park opposite. Easy walk to the cove and a longer walk (1.5 miles) to Durdle Door. Highly recommended. Book directly for 20% off on joining pub loyalty scheme.

Amazing stay at the Castle Inn. Check-in was superb – very friendly and informative. We had an issue with our bedroom, which we spoke to the manager Simon about and he was incredibly kind and understanding. Although the pub was really really busy he found a workaround that was brilliant and meant we enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully furnished. We ate both nights in the pub and the food was excellent (it's always a concern when you have food allergies, but these guys are 10/10 amazing if you need to avoid gluten or dairy), and the atmospehere was extremely jolly and welcoming. Breakfast on both mornings was delicious and the lady in charge (Hobbs) is absolutely brilliant and reason alone to return in the future. Cannot say enough good things about the Castle and the team there 100% great :)

The Castle Inn is a lovely traditional,thatched roof inn a 20min walk from Lulworth. The staff were really lovely,each of them friendly and clearly all work hard and look after their guests well..The pub is furnished to a high standard and the room was so cosy and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was good and they have a wide menu for lunch and dinner. The dinner we ate there could have been better,but it wasn't bad..Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for 2 nights with our 9 month old son. The building is full of character and clearly someone takes oride in ensuring it stays beautiful. The best bit about this place though is the staff. They are the nicest staff we have ever encountered - from helping us with our bags to creating a dish that my son could eat whilst weaning. They were always proacrively offering to help. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.

Cannot recommend this highly enough. Rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated, shower was excellent, breakfast outstanding, staff attentive. Excellent location for Lulworth and the castle. 10/10 5 gold stars!

This is an exceptional pub and room to start in with really friendly staff. The food is excellent. It is a great base location for a couple of days stay for attractions in the area. Would throughly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at The Castle Inn. The rooms are clean and have everything you need but are also quirky and characterful. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and everything we tried was delicious. We ate in the pub on both evenings of our stay and enjoyed dinner very much. The location is great too. A peaceful corner of Dorset but with wonderful coastal walks and the beautiful Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door close by. We loved being able to take an early morning walk to enjoy the stunning English countryside and coastline. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel and brilliant stay

Lovely old inn beautifully appointed with quirky decoration which suited an old building. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff who worked so hard during a very beautiful sunny weekend. Food was well presented and very enjoyable. Really comfortable bed and fab shower in a large bathroom. Great stay can’t wait to return as it’s situated in the gorgeous village of West Lulworth about a 5 minute walk from Lulworth Cove. Stunning.

First time staying here and will definitely be back. Staff were brilliant; friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely, (aside from one pillow being a bit too firm!), and little touches like the cafeteria in the room, and a free drink in the bar, were gratefully received!! Breakfast was fantastic, waayy better than the usual chain hotels you may stay in. The Inn is about a 1km walk down to Lulworth Cove itself, so really accessible, and means you can stay parked there rather than pay the high fees in the main car park. Overall i'd highly recommend!

A wonderful visit to this beautiful, well run and happy pub. Genuinely a delight to spend time here. All the staff are excellent, special recognition to Elijah, Hobbs and Kelly for being above and beyond brilliant. Also, Adam made checking in quick and easy. Car park is handy and the number plate system is very simple to use. Food was delicious (we ate in both evenings) and the chef was very happy to accommodate our special dietary needs. Same with the delicious breakfast. The whole pub looked great after the refurbishment, was clean and super tidy. Lulworth itself is a Lovely area, great for walks.
