I really enjoyed the library-themed design of the hotel. I booked the Moderate Double room, which was surprisingly spacious by Japanese standards. I could easily open two full-sized checked luggage bags and still walk to the bed without needing to close or step over them. The bed itself was very comfortable, though the pillow felt a little too soft and didn’t provide enough support until you stack a few together. I also found it interesting that the in-room phone was actually a mobile phone.
The gym was clean and well-equipped, with a water dispenser and even a blood pressure machine. The location was very convenient—about a 500m (7-minute) walk to Hakata Station and right in front of an open field. Having a Family Mart right next to the hotel was also a big plus. I appreciated the option to choose how I wanted my room serviced each day simply by putting up the appropriate sign.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would be happy to return.
