Our experience at Il Rivalta was nothing short of perfection. The property is located directly on the Arno River in the heart of the most vibrant part of town, with immediate walking access to most of the major tourist attractions of Firenze. The room was exceptional with a lovely view of the Arno, Ponte Vecchio, and some beautiful sunsets. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Included breakfast was always outstanding, and the valet and taxi services were quick and efficient. Do not miss the rooftop terrace where you can see 360 views of the city (including the Duomo and the sunset) - we felt that this view was even competitive with Piazzale Michelangelo. Overall, exceptional way to start our first trip to Italia, and we look forward to returning to Firenze and staying at Il Rivalta in the future. Grazie mille!

Cute, charming, clean, and comfortable! The hotel is in a very walkable, safe location, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!

I was given upgrade for free. Very clean, very nice staff, center of all the action . Has the best view of the sunset and Arno river. Love the jacuzzi, best bed and pillows. I’m a serious traveler and had been to a lot of 5 star hotels , and this one felt like I’m in 1! I will surely cone back!

This property is amazing. Our room was from the 1800s and had a painted, cathedral ceiling and a massive fireplace. It was extraordinary. The included breakfast was very nice. The location is excellent, with everything in walking distance. We want to call out Marco from reception who went above and beyond. He was such a wonderful face to see each day.

+: Well located, good breakfast -: a bottle of water should be at least offered daily in a 4star hôtel (in a hot country). Parking is 30eur/day but you need to add 10eur whenever you want to use your car! Poor network in the room.

Amazing property. The room was huge and modern. The bathroom shower is great. The floors in parque wood are beautiful. The high ceiling !!! Just a great place to stay. 100% will go back only here.

We loved this hotel, it was clean, it was large, staff was the most helpful and kind, and it was so comfortable. We were finally able to get some really good sleep on our trip. The only issue there is no nearby transportation. Florence has a bus shuttle that has stops closer to other hotels that we found about later from a member in our tour group to Cinque Terre. Also they are doing construction work in the road in the area, so the taxis have to go around, making it more expensive. Beautiful views from the terrace!!

Beautiful property, centrally located just 2 blocks from Ponte Vecchio! Rooms were beautifully decorated and breakfast was delicious.
