Lovely hotel with great staff

Hotel was lovely and modern, rooms well appointed. Leisure centre was a great addition. Food was very good, as were the staff. The restaurant was very dated and did not match the rest of the property, it felt like an old social club.

This is a lovely hotel with fitness club, golf course, etc.. We didn't use any of these as we were just passing through. Very nice room and surroundings. One thing could be done to improve the experience - clean the upholstery on the chairs in the breakfasting room.

Clean property, helpful staff and a great place to stay!

Outside pictures in hotels.com aren’t from the hotel. This was a shock when we entered the hotel. However rooms were okay, very clean and service was excellent. Restaurant was okay.

The room was lovely and spacious, wonderful shower and nice and clean. The reception staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel is in a nice location, very quiet residential area. The bed was super comfy, so nice to have air con to regulate temperature in the heat. The breakfast was included with the room stay- it was pretty basic and seemed a bit disorganised. I wouldn't pay for it separately.

Had a lovely stay, very clean. Great amenities/swimming pool/spa. Comfy bed. Quiet surroundings but near to town for pubs/restaurant. Perfect for a night or 2 away. Will be back for sure

Fantastic hotel with pool, gym and amazing golf course. Breakfast delicious with fresh fruit and full English. Spacious rooms, comfy bed and great bathroom with walk in shower. Peaceful, light and calming environment. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were really helpful. Breakfast was good although maybe have more staff on as there were some delays with specialist requests and only 1 staff member on duty.

Nice friendly helpful staff. Lovely room with comfortable bed, aircon and modern bathroom. Large, fluffy towels. Complimentary bottles of water which was appreciated. Lovely spa. Breakfast was fine but grilled tomatoes would have been nice and rolls in addition to sliced bread. Overall, an excellent hotel and would definitely return.

O hotel é muito bom, sempre que viemos para esta região ficamos nele. Os funcionários são atenciosos, especialmente Jessica, David e Claire. Apenas, diante das mudanças climáticas do momento, seria importante os hotéis da Inglaterra e região pensarem em colocar frigobar nos quartos.

Room was very clean and nice however we was disappointed that we had access to the gym facilities etc.. but was quiet surprised that In a four star hotel there was no gown & slippers instead there is a note saying that can use the towels in the bedrooms to use and a heated radiator to dry off the used towels which is unhygienic we also opted for a breakfast In bed option for a fee of £5 which we did receive on the first day on the following morning we did not get our breakfast also we like to play golf as this is a golf resort would be good for the hotel to hire out golf clubs especially if customers are arriving from abroad most People do not tend to travel with equipment even if they are local for a romantic getaway we would book this hotel again but this hotel lacks in resources being in slippers & robe and not hire out clubs for golf

We stayed overnight 11/06 , use of spa and swimming pool were excellent ,, room spacious and clean ,, breakfast great ,, dinner choices limited but ok ,, pleasant stay ,,

Clean room

We were instantly made to feel welcome when checking in, everything was explained to us regarding the facilities the dining arrangements and the bars. Very friendly and polite staff too. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
