If you are staying in Glyfada this is THE place

- An older hotel in need of an update. ​- Clean and fresh. ​- A decent breakfast selection, with additions available at an extra cost. ​- Excellent service and very friendly staff. ​- Disappointing that the pool area wasn't included in the price.

I had a wonderful stay at Golden Sun Hotel and truly cannot praise the staff enough. Despite my baggage being delayed for most of my stay, the team made me feel completely at home from the moment I arrived. A very special thank you to Tatiana, Khalid, and all the reception team for their kindness, support, and professionalism. They always went the extra mile to help with anything I needed, always with genuine smiles on their faces. I honestly cannot describe how helpful and caring they were throughout my stay. Their warm attitude turned a stressful situation into a very comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel location is excellent, only a 5 minute walk from the main restaurants and cafes, and just 1 minute from the train station, which made everything very convenient. The hotel itself was very clean, well maintained, and the breakfast offered an excellent variety of choices every morning. Thank you again to the entire team for such amazing hospitality. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Good stay with comfy bed, clean bathroom, bit noisy through the corridors. Great location and helpfull staff.

Personalen trevlig. Rummet okej men tyvärr otroligt lyhört. Rum 01-05 är nog okej, rum 06-12 störs av både 3 filiga vägen utanför o h trapphuset då dörrarna är papperstunna. Det mest irriterande var dock att poolområdet var stängt 3 av 4 dagar under vår vistelse utan någon kompensation. Uselt.

Very good breakfast.

Room was clean. The balcony door seemed heavy to move. The hotel is close to the Pikpa and Kolymbiterio stops. Hotel breakfast is good. Staff was courteous, speaks English and was appreciative of efforts to speak Greek. I would book this hotel if i were to return to Glyfadha

Nice room & Great Breakfast. Nice pool. Really nice front desk staff. Had an early check out and they were so kind to prepare us a Breakfast to go. Would definitely recommend to family.

Very nice Hotel. Great buffet breakfast and very clean rooms. Front staff very helpful and provided us a to go breakfast on our very early departure. Also very helpful in helping secure parking very close to entrance. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Old accommodations, bad air condition service, no tea/coffee/water available in the rooms, could hear all noises from outside, slow service in the bar

The hotel was in a great location. Walking distance to the main shopping/restaurant district and also local beaches. The pool area was very nice and the outdoor sitting areas. The rooms were dated but nice. Our main problem with this hotel is the cleanliness. We booked for 3 nights - on our first night we found several large (2-4inch) cockroaches in the bedroom area and the bathroom. Staff was very accommodating and moved us to another room. On our third night, in our new room, more cockroaches were in our room and on the balcony. Very disappointing as everything else about the hotel was great, however would not return due to the bug infestation it clearly has and the bacteria that cockroaches carry.

Everything about this property was fantastic except the mattress. It was horrible!

The room had old furniture and the bed was so uncomfortable. To hard, Like sleeping on concrete floor. The general areas of the hotel such as the reception area, breakfast room and pool area were nice and tidy. Friendly straff. Cleaning was good but nothing special.

The breakfast area and bar were very nice, and the staff were friendly. The pool was also clean and well maintained. However, the room itself was disappointing. It had a strong damp smell, the mattress was very uncomfortable, and the shower wasn’t particularly clean around the bottom of the door. On the positive side, the room was a good size, and the balcony received plenty of sun, which was lovely. Considering the inexpensive price and the excellent location, close to both the beach and the centre of Glyfada, it does offer good value. If you’re lucky enough to get a fresher room and don’t mind a very firm mattress, it can be a great choice.
