Room is clean and the location is convenient.

Very nice property within walking distance to waterfront offering a large array of restaurants and coffee shops. Outdoor deck with hot tub and a well equipped gym . We had an executive suite that was spacious for two and had wrap around windows for great views of downtown Halifax. Would highly recommend

Everything was excellent!

Hôtel was amazing but house keeping was slightly lacking in terms of replenishing things. Also, sofa bed in the executive suite is not comfortable. Gym was amazing and location perfect.

The bedding was divine

We had an excellent stay at Sutton Place Halifax and would definitely stay here again. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean, and our room on the 17th floor offered a spectacular view of the Halifax waterfront. Waking up to that view was one of the highlights of our trip. The location is outstanding. Being right in the heart of downtown meant we could easily walk to the waterfront, restaurants, shops, and many of Halifax's attractions. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay. They were welcoming, professional, and incredibly accommodating. We were especially grateful that they allowed us to check in about four hours early, as we were between accommodations with our luggage. That small gesture made a huge difference and really set the tone for a wonderful stay. We didn't have a chance to use the hot tub or visit the bar, so we can't comment on those amenities. The only thing future guests should be aware of is that, because the hotel is located in the heart of downtown, you may hear some street noise on weekend evenings. It wasn't bothersome to us at all and is simply part of staying in such a convenient, vibrant location. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with exceptional service, an unbeatable location, and amazing waterfront views. We highly recommend it and would happily stay here again.

The location is great. The price for value is not great.

This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. The rooms & washroom were nice. But the cleaning service quality wasn’t great. They replaced glasses with one with lipstick marks, didn’t replace the empty tissue box or body lotion. One towel had marks on it. So overall more attention to cleanliness by cleaning staff would have been appreciated.

Great hotel in central Halifax downtown core. Definitely would stay here again

Great Canadian owned hotel with all the bells and whistles, and I mean all of them. Room was huge ,new and clean with a wonderful view, perfectly maintained. Beds were very comfortable and air coditioning is quiet. Allof the staff were wonderful, friendly and very helpful.Valet parking which I normally don't bother wirh ended up being a big plus. There is a wonderful french pastry cafe right across the road. The in house restaurant had some of the best prime rib I have had and the hotwl is a short walk to the busy Halifax boardwalk with tons of places to eat and take a stroll too. If I ever go back to Halifax this where I am staying.
