The service and condition of the hotel are very good. Except there was black stain (looks like mold stain) and yellow dots on the towel. It is totally unacceptable in such a high ranking hotel.

Comfortable room, bed, nice bathroom, gym small but nobody in it and the bar is good for lunch (those service was a little slow) or an evening drink.

Just returned from a 2 night stay. Lovely big twin room on 4th floor. Our Cockerpoo was welcomed with open arms and made a real fuss of. Water and food bowl provided alongside a bed and even a tub of treats - these she absolutely loved. Spacious, clean and great pressure shower. Classy hotel, tasty breakfast and loved the art on the walls! Highly recommend. Would return.

Beautiful hoel, excellent service!

Large deceased insect on windowsill. No TV channel summary. Beds that moved about. Up and down stairs to get to room. Shower head leaked from joint where it was screwed into connecting pipe. No ability to open window fir fresh air. Very convenient location, generally clean.

This was a great property to stay in. Good room size and bathroom. Very clean helpful staff and great location. I would highly recommend staying here.

There was a problem with our room when we had arrived . They offered us a drink while they figured it out . Within minutes they upgraded us . Amazing and ultra friendly staff .

Beautiful Hotel. Staff was 50/50. We were expecting a local call that couldn't call our cell phones and the staff could not figure out how to transfer the call to our room so we missed the call. Door people were awesome, as were bar staff. Front desk seemed to have one competent woman. Maid service kept leaving us only one towel, not emptying garbage or replenishing toilet paper. Room was very nice and comfortable though.

The hotel is oozing of old world charm, but the location its clearly not what it was during its high day. Cathedral Square after dark can best be described as a ghetto and we took long de-tours to avoid the area, but the hotel is situated only 100 yards from the before mentioned square. Trying to smoke a cigarette outside was simply impossible due to the sometimes aggressive beggars that always floats around. A few details, such as not getting the room cleaned until 5.20pm, broken window locks which meant the windows couldn't be sealed and poor English from reception staff also drags down the overall score

As always, a very pleasant stay The jazz at the Isaac’s is a fantastic addition (it could start earlier though)

Lovely hotel with good restaurants and bars and a very 'Grand' decor. Great room with wonderful toiletries and beverages in the room

Beautifully renovated to reflect 1920’s vibe - we loved being so central opposite Gaucho and the parking and shopping was much easier to walk to than we thought. Power shower great and Penhaligon toiletries made it extra special. We will return

Had a lovely one night stay in The Grand - a beautifully renovated hotel. Our (double) room was spacious enough, lovely bathroom (shower was fab) and the pillows were so comfortable! Also, no outside noise could be heard - a bonus for a city centre hotel!

Stayed for two nights, very nice hotel with friendly staff. Room very clean and comfortable. Bar looks good and great drinks
