It's old and not maintained well. Pricey food for dinner. We love the breakfast 100% 😍

Broken remote control, the wave is not working, few foods on breakfast buffet. Expensive activities

❤ check in process was quick and easy. ❤ room is spacious. We love the log cabins. ❤ the ac was really cool and heater in the shower was working really well. ❤ wave pool is still as awesome as we remember. ❤ it was holy week but the pool was surprisingly uncrowded. ❤ all of the staff were very polite and helpful. ❤ the breakfast buffet had a lot of options and located at the very nice floating restaurant. ❤ third time to visit but first time to try one fishing place floating restaurant. We loved the taste and the generous servings. ❤ pet friendly ❤ 😭 not much free activities for holy week like aqua zumba, movie night, etc. 😭 other activities are too pricey. 😭 wave pool was too low and not really that clean. (malumot) 😭 the grilling restaurant beside the pool that we loved before closed. They only serve halo halo, shakes and snacks. I hope they reopen it so that it is easier to spend the whole day by the pool or eat dinner by the pool.

Great experience, a nature-lover kind of resort, only issue is the weak wifi connection and there are areas with no signal for mobile networks.

Overall stay was good! Though they need to invest a lot on fixing the rooms.

The place was awesome will probably be back soon.

We encountered some issues on the room we checked in. The issued water kettle was not working, although it was replaced. The water on the toilet and bidet was erratic or unstable. Had to call the housekeeping/engineering several times to fix. You have to exert extra effort on closing the door of the room which is inconvenient that you might not lockee the door properly. Also, some of the facilities were not maintained properly. And the shuttle service inside the resort was only there on Apr 7. We did not notice any shuttle on on Apr. 8 and 9. Though, our stay was good considering the food, wave pool and the concert in Apr. 7.

It's my 2nd time here and I would say, the 2nd time is better. Our room is near, the food was good specially the free breakfast. The crew at The Orchid were very pleasant and accommodating. Although the dinner buffet is a little misleading and selection was limited. It says 199+ but the real price is 240 and only 40 pesos was the discount for kids. For our room, the phone was not working so it is difficult if you need something from the front desk. I wish they had option to request for ref in the cabin. Overall, our stay was awesome, my daughter loved the wave pool. We thought she is not gonna experience it due to power outage but luckily, the personnel called us when the power is up and they will start the wave pool.

Great staffs! Entire lot is huge and nice. However, it would be nicer if management can maintain or better, renovate the cabins and restaurants. Cabin interior is already outdated but clean. Huge cabin but a bit under lighted. But all in all, our experience here was great!

Location is good. We arrived late in the evening. No one assist us going to our cabin/room. Kami pa humanap ng room namin. (Ano to, finders, keepers?! Kwarto mo, hanapin mo?) Ang excuse nila kasi wala na daw magsasama sa amin kasi gabi na. TV sira. Heater sa cr hindi gumagana. Telephone, laging busy kahit wala naman mga nakacheck in. Kelangan pa namin pumunta sa reception area para sabihin namin yung mga concern namin. Yung request namin na nilagay,hindi nangyari. Simple lang naman yung request namin. Medyo magkalayo dapat yung room namin dun sa isang room na binook ko din. Ang ginawa nila, pinagtabi pa talaga yung room namin. Never na ulit kami magbook sa Chateau Royale Resort and Spa. Needs improvement. Not recommended.

The hotel is has a great view during the evening. The front office needs to plan properly their breaks. Not all at the same time. The buffet breakfast is so-so. The wave pool is great.. The shower needs to be check, because the water is not that strong even though we followed the instruction on how to use the shower. The lighting of our bathroom is so poor. As they only used small warm light bulbs. The TV remote is not working, we already asked the Hotel Staff to do something about it but was not resolved.

Excellent service and place. Staffs are very accommodating.
