Perfect for a couples weekend away! Excellent stay thank you all! So nice to sit on a terrace looking at the beach and sea, whilst eating a very good breakfast. Booked with our 12yo Labrador. Stairs were a tad steep but she was happy being carried up 😁 Staff are very helpful and the location is just stunning! We will be back

Getting to the room was a bit of a haul – don't bring more luggage than you have to! – but then we did choose the one at the top of the building with ace views over Lyme bay. We had a lovely stay at the Rock Port Inn. It is a lovely Inn with a pub and a restaurant with spectacular views of the cliffs, and ocean beaches. Located in the center of the Square, convenient for walks to quaint shoppes, local bars and restaurants, the Lyme Regis Museum (A+ Fossil Hunting), and the beautifully scenic Jurrasic Coast and beach! Staff were friendly and provided excellent service. A delicious continental breakfast, plus hot breakfast options were included! Our guest room was on the small side, but was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are not air conditioned, but they did have a Dyson cooling fan at both sides of the bed. It was a room facing the sunny side, which made it difficult to cool down, so perhaps arranging for a room on the back side of the building would be cooler during the summer.

While the location is nice the parking is 10 minute walk up a steep hill. Even dropping off luggage is a challenge as it’s right at a very crowded tiny car park. Sadly Expedia sold us the Penthouse room (photos were of it) at a 50 pound discount yet when we got there we got a room with a small window mostly iverlooking the roof and kitchen smoke stack and just a tiny bit of the water. Not happy! Manager said Expedia does that and they have no control. He did take half off dinner but we would rather have had the room we were sold by as shown Expedia. The hotel should drop them instead of customers getting burned.

We stayed in room 1 - one of their cheapest rooms - but next time I’d pay more for a sea view and quieter side. Our room faced the main high street (and public loos!) so was a little noisy and had full afternoon sun so got warm. An air con unit was provided but the Dyson fan did not work. The room was much larger than expected and due to the age of the property sloped quite a bit! Our bed was massive but could have been propped up to make it level. Pros of the property = excellent central location, great bar and restaurant with lovely views and food (the calamari, burger and sticky toffee pudding were delicious). Staff were very sweet. Watch out for seagulls!

We had a lovely stay at Rock Point, the staff were lovely, the property was in a great setting and nice and clean, the food was great too!! Our only down side was the old rattling sash windows during a very stormy night.

The inn is a stone’s throw from the beach with sea views from my bedroom and the dining terrace, situated on the busy market square. Ideal for swimming from the sheltered beach. The staff were all very hard working, attentive and kind - nothing was too much trouble to make you feel welcome. The bedroom was snug, furnished in a rustic style, but the bed was very comfortable, the wet room functioned well. The stairs off the street to the bedrooms were a bit shabby and scuffed. Breakfast and evening meals good. So a pleasant stay but £758 for one person for three nights did seem expensive.

A pleasant place to stay in the middle of the town. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Parking is a bit tricky, but once you get a space nearby things are fine.

A really fantastic comfortable stay. Such a great location to be as you are close to everything. The staff were attentive, friendly and so helpful, we couldn’t fault our time there. Highly recommended

EVERYTHING stood out! Absolutely every aspect of our stay at The Rock Point was great! The staff, the room, the food, the bar, the location - EVERYTHING!

Really friendly and helpful team made a good stay memorable. Very comfortable bed, spotless room, if lucky the sea view is great and you are right in the centre of things.

The room looked over the beach, but it was a tiny room, and the floor was seriously uneven. It was clean and the staff were friendly.

The inn is beautifully located on the seafront we had a lovely room overlooking the water. Room was very comfortable and the staff were cheerful and helpful. It was also handy to be able to just walk downstairs to the cosy pub for supper. Would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rock Point Inn. The location on the water is perfect, breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked and hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Really lovely place to stay, great location with an exceptional breakfast! Only thing they could improve is the bed - the mattress we had was quite lumpy and it could have been more comfortable

What a lovely place to stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Sea view room was amazing and welcoming with a few little extras and the food in the restaurant was great too. Have already booked to go again.
