I’m from British Columbia, I had booked my stay before I left for my trip. The pictures of the motel were wonderful and the descriptions were very nice, thinking this would be a great place to stay. Upon arrival, the building looked like it was not maintained for years, long grass and weeds have taken over, the parking lot was pot holed and un maintained. The rooms didn’t have air conditioning, the water had a brown tinge and couldn’t be drank. Water was shut off the afternoon of the first day I stayed,, the second morning I departed,, there was no water,, somehow it was shut off during the night,, horrible!!!! Good thing I had bottled water to at least brush my teeth!! There was a huge language barrier with the owners/workers,, just disgusting!!! I should have got at least half of my money back because I would have done better in a tent,,,

We were very disappointed. This inn used to be so lovely and the owners were very nice. Unfortunately, it is no longer a nice place to stay. I really hate to rate it so low, because it's someone's business and livelihood, but it just wasn't up to par. We had trouble checking in, trying to call the number posted on the door, and after several tries, turned to leave, when the attendant finally showed up commenting that he saw us on the video surveillance screen. Why didn't he answer the phone? The outside of the inn looked a little run down, so we asked to see the room. It didn't improve our thoughts about staying there. We decided we'd pay for the room, but look for another place to stay. We honestly didn't want to hurt his feelings. The attendant was friendly enough, but when we were paying for the room, he received a cell phone call and immediately started speaking to the person who called. When you're in business, your first priority is your customers. We felt like we weren't important enough for his attention.

The bathroom cold faucet did not work, only the hot water. There was no proper ventilation. The window cannot be opened.

The remote didn’t turn on the tv. And there were stains on the covers

The room wasn't very clean. Things were broken and falling apart. The blinds were broken and full of holes, they couldn't be shut, the bath matt had been stuffed in the corner of the bathroom and it was ripped and fullnof holes. The bathtub was fullnof rust stain and soap scum and kept leaking. The side table was almost completely undone from it's legs and the room smelt very bad. The screen door was also very rusted and wouldn't close. We have stayed in many motels and hotels before. This was probably one of the worst. I do have to say though that the staff was very nice.

It was not sanitary

The picture really needs to be updated and show the rest of the property which does not have a view of the lake. The hotel is a distance from this photo. Cheap rooms but a bit of service would be nice.

The bed sheets were full of hair, bathroom had mold on the ceiling, bathroom door was filthy, spatters oh who know what on the wall, light switch was filthy and the door barely latched and was difficult to lock. Even worse was the smell and the fact that the welcome counter was noisy all night with an adjoining door locked with a sliding bathroom latch. Bag of melding chick peas in the microwave and garbage under the bed. Only positive was that the beds after we put on our own sheets were comfortable.

Overall pretty decent obviously a little mess here or there but nothing horrible. Typical roadside motel decent price friendly staff

Kitchen was fully equipped Toaster has seen better days, burners on stove need replacement.

Quiet

The beds are not clean. We founded dirty sheets and pillows. The staff was not helpful. We arrived to the hotel at 6:30 pm no body was in the reception desk. We ring the bell for minutes also called the number that they puts in the front door. Not answer we left messages not response at all. I don't recommend this hotel to no body. Is a shame because was a nice area beautiful view to the lake. Very accessible. But no thank you.

A little rustic heater was loud and not in the greatest of shape but the room was clean quiet and friendly staff! Nice location !

Bathroom sink was backed up. Room was freezing upon arrival, the only heat was a VERY noisy little electric fireplace. We could hardly hear the TV over the noise from the fireplace fan. We had to go and request cups to drink our coffee as there were none in the room. Bed was ok for sleeping, but the furniture was pretty shabby looking, along with the entire room. For what we paid here, we would expect something a bit better. We won’t be back.

Overall, the room was adequate. I did find a paper in a burner of the stove (fortunately, before I used it) and someone's leftover muffin wrapper in the microwave. Glasses were not clean, but I could not find any dishwashing detergent to clean them. WIFI was advertised, but I failed to find it on my computer search. Bed and bathroom were clean and well ordered. The room was warm and draft free. If I were to have stayed longer, I did find all food prep dishware that I would have needed.

very few towels and washcloths....water drains very slowly...sink drains are plugged....windows dirty...screens torn...screen door won't close correctly....the rooms need mtce.

Over all good as it is an old motel and the sink in both kitchen and bathroom are locked

Rund down place

Room smelled like mold/mildew-including bedding & towels. Not even a window to open. We had to keep the door open all night to partially mitigate the smell. Do not stay here if you have asthma or value not inhaling mold.
