In theory this is a fantastic place. Logistically it is a nightmare. If you rent a car there is scarce parking if any and if you take public transit, your walk uphill is at least 15 minutes. The closest store of any kind is kilometers away. There are not screens on the windows and there are many bugs and critters so sleeping with the windows open is not possible. The summer heat makes it unbearable to sleep anywhere but the ground floor kitchen. So we slept on foam mats in the kitchen. There is one restaurant up here but they only allow their hotel guests to order from them. The closest restaurant is one bus stop up and extremely expensive. There is no WiFi. No microwave. The interior has been redone with modern fixtures like some track lighting and modern style shelving. Charming to visit but I would not stay here again.
