Nice unique hotel

Lovely stay great breakfast. Stairs are thin and narrow going to your rooms on the upper floor.

Very respectable establishment, room and pub. The comfort of the bed was excellent.

Room and common areas very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Room well decorated and bed comfirtable Some minor issues with fixtures. Only real problem is physical size of the room - too small for two adults and bathroom just uncomfortable.

My stay eas fantastic, the staff went above and beyond, i had my cat with me our stay was amazing, the evening meal and breakfast was the best, i would highly recommend the royal oak

Ideal if you arrive in the UK late or are leaving the next morning. Entrance to room via a code given before arrival. Room very basic, but even my wife (who often complains about rooms being too small or uncomfortable) thought this a nice local hotel to stay. Pub below is a nice place to have dinner/breakfast. Personnel very friendly. We’ll go there again in the future

Nice location quiet out the way food is very reasonably priced. Breakfast is also nice. Wi-Fi is good free parking. The only thing for me is breakfast doesn’t start till eight and usually have to be at work by then apart from that no complaints.

The rooms were above a pub. There is no elevator and the stairs were steep. Once upstairs and in the room it was comfortable. The pub below served food for a cost. The food was very good. Breakfast was amazing.
