Small bed, too hot, no air conditioning

Location was amazing. We found some amazing hiking/walking trails in the AM and then drank some of the best pinot noir in beautiful Tuscan-esque vineyards in the PM...all within driving distance. Hosts were even better. Amy and Shawn were both kind and warm in welcoming us to their BnB. Every morning started with a 5-star quality breakfast to start the day right (they were very mindful of food allergies) and our day was often filled with their great suggestions of places to visit, food to eat, and wine to drink.

Relaxing. Just far enough away but a very short drive to dinner in downtown Carlton (or McMinnville). Look forward to doing it again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gaard House. The owners are friendly, lovely people. Their B&B is charming and sits on a beautiful property overlooking the Willamette Valley. We highly recommend!

Our stay at The Gaard House was unquestionably the highlight of our first trip to Oregon. Shawn and Amy are exceptional hosts, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and inviting. Overall, The Gaard House is the perfect place to unwind and rest while exploring the area. Highly recommended!

The bed and breakfast was a perfect, quiet place for a stay to visit wineries. We had an early half- marathon run the next morning, and they were able to accommodate and give us some breakfast beforehand, and allowed us to check out late after the run. We will absolutely come back!

Sean and Amy are amazing hosts. I was in for a family wedding at a local winery and the property was very close and convenient. Beautiful house and facility. SUPER CLEAN. Huge deck out back for happy hour and meals. Very nice and will come back again!!!

We enjoyed our stay with the Gaards. Loved the freshly cooked pancakes and parfait for breakfast. Highly recommended!

Great place. Warm and friendly hosts. Amazing breakfast. Lots of amenities if you were staying in. Only drawback is no elevator for the second floor. I'd stay there again.

Shawn and Amy were wonderful hosts! Communication with them was easy. Breakfast was delicious and personally prepared by the hosts. The property was also convenient to the many wineries in the area. We especially enjoyed meeting "Trouble" the cat! We would readily stay here again in the future.
