It was great place to stay

No ice machine and the front desk did not open until 0900

It looked nothing like the pictures, the beds were worn and sagging in the middle. The heating didn't work well and the springs were poking through the couch. We checked out after 1 night instead of staying for 3 nights as planned. Total waste of money

Easy access and view of the beach. Just walk out and the beach is right there. Dining was even available at 9:30 pm in 2 restaurants on Sunday night. Nice and spacy 1 bedroom with a kitchen and sofa bed.

Really enjoyed this place with my kids.

We were happy with all Rockaway Beach Resort had to offer. Loved the balcony and up close proximity of the ocean. The office staff was exceptional! We stayed 8 nights and the only complaint we have is no maid service for that long of a stay. It would have been nice to get a freshening up midway through our stay.

Loved having a beachfront room. Beds were comfy. Relaxing ocean sounds. Morning coffee on the patio was great. The staff was so friendly and accommodating.

Great views and comfortable room. Liked having two bathrooms and sleeping areas. It is an older property that needs some minor maintenance, but nothing that would prevent me from staying again. Check in was easy and staff were nice. Did not use the pool or hot tub as we only stayed one night. Did enjoy being able to borrow a movie.

Great location and staff. Carpet was soiled stained and ragged. Wallpaper peeling off wall in spots. Furniture dated soiled and shabby. Floors were uneven. Approximately 1/3 of light fixtures and electrical outlets did not work. Entire property was in extreme need of repair and renovation. There was no maid service. I don’t believe that the room I had should even be offered to rent it was in such bad shape

Great location, friendly staff, reasonable rates and adequate amenities, comfortable for a families with varying ages of kids.

Had a great time at the Rockaway Beach Resort. We stayed at the first floor with a fantastic view of the ocean. It felt like we are right in the middle of the ocean. We watched Disney+ (caame in the hotel TV) and sipped hot chocolate in the evenings. Kitchen facility was great one start deducted as I found a couple of bowls with some gross dirt (I am hoping the slimy thing was just dirt mixed with soap). Anyway, the hotel room was clean and cozy with plenty of spots to hang out, dine and sleep. It was very pet friendly with pet bowls, owels and treats too! Hot cocoa, coffer, cream, sugar, everything was available.

The floors were dirty, needed a damp mop to clean it. Dry mopping doesn't solve the problem. Very little water pressure in the shower. Upstairs guests were very noisy moving furniture, etc throughout the day and night.

The place was okay, but I wouldn’t stay again. The furniture is really dated the chairs and sofa bed felt worn out, and the lighting is old. There was also a noticeable odor coming from the carpet. Being on the ground floor, we could hear a lot of footsteps from upstairs, which made it hard to relax. On the plus side, the fridge and microwave were clean, the bathrooms were kept up well, and the kitchen had utensils and pots, which was convenient. Overall, it worked for the basics, but for the cost, I expected something more comfortable and updated.

I've never written a review before but this place warrants the praise. We very much enjoyed our family trip at this location, friendly staff, right on the beach, great amenities and extremely clean. It's an older establishment but its completely maintained and well kept. I would not hesitate to stay here again, especially because it is reasonably priced.

It was peaceful, no loud noise. Nice to sit outside and enjoy the view. They did have to fix a light that was burned out, but no problem for our stay. Very friendly at the front desk.

Ocean view one bedroom with two nice updated bathrooms is a definite plus. Will stay here again.

View out our back door was amazing

Very friendly staff on day of check in. Large rooms with well stocked kitchen equipment. We used the grill shack and it was clean and in good order. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were in good condition w a few pool toys that our grandson enjoyed. Unfortunately, somebody had a toileting accident in the pool, necessitating emptying and sanitizing! It wasnt RBRs fault, but we werent able to use it after participating in a local race and our grandson was able to swim! Whoever did it, did not notify the front desk! It was discovered by another guest.
