However, the hotel is located in a great area for shopping, and the rooftop restaurant is excellent, offering both a beautiful view and delicious food. All the hotel staff we encountered were warm, friendly, and provided helpful assistance.

Hotel is located in an area with small streets. A bit quiet at night but still safe. Just next to a blind person massage house. The hotel is good and the staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast is included in the roof top restaurant which is unbeatable .

Airport pick up is terrible. Room is old and facilities are inadequate, electricity shortage sometimes. Location not good. Not worth to stay as there are many choices close to Thamel area.

This is probably one of the best hotels I have stayed for the price, location, area, great restaurant bud above all for the best staff such a friendly people that makes to think twice to leave. Highly reccomended I will recommend my friends and family too

The hotel was decent overall. The restaurant upstairs was surprisingly good, and the service staff were friendly and welcoming. The one major drawback was how much sound carries throughout the building. Unfortunately, the manager (the man in a suit) often spoke so loudly on his phone that it disrupted the atmosphere. I could hear him from the restaurant one floor up during my first check-in, and later I couldn’t even wait peacefully in the lobby for my cab because his voice carried across the entire space. It really took away from the otherwise nice experience. I ended up relying on earplugs and headphones just to tune it out. Shouty people can be grating, and in a place where guests want to relax, that made a difference.

The restaurant gets no special mentions which is weird because it's great. Great value hotel with rooms nicer than I'm used to on the edge of Thamel.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. Great start to our stay in Kathmandu!

I had a great stay again at the Woodapple hotel. Staff treat you like family so I keep going back. The food was delicious. Manager Rama is great too and does great customer relations with the guests.

Amazing , friendly staff and good service

My stay was pleasant and great. The manager (Ram) was welcoming and addressed any concerns I had. He even had one of his staff members (Nishesh thapa) go find me an ESIM card. Which was greatly appreciated. The manager and the staff went out of there way. Location was great. Breakfast was Yummy. Would stay again.

Can't really believe this is just rated as a 3-star hotel. I've stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels that didn't offer the same comfort and rooms. Staff are amazing, always responsive. Breakfast is decent and the treatments in the hotel's spa were great. Best of all, rooms are clean and spacious.

Very nice spot in a cool neighborhood with small shops

This is the best hotel in the Thamel area. The hotel is always clean and the staff is so nice and extremely helpful! I have stayed there a few years in a row and they remember me and are so welcoming. Great location too!

Beautiful and tucked away from the busy crowds of Thamel. the staff was excellent and super attentive.

We came back to kathmandu so that we could make our flight out of Nepal easily, so we came to a hotel we knew was good. We got a more modest room, but having come here before and having reserved a higher end room that time, the staff remembered our preference and upgraded us to that higher end room free of charge! The staff are fantastically helpful and nice, we could go to them for tips on places we wanted to go, and their food is also really good. Have a lot of nice options from breakfast to the a la carte menu. We didn't need to eat out that much because they had very good options, including many good nepali food staples. It was also nice that this was located at the edge of Thamel, so we could easily get to many touristy shopping areas/locations and enjoy a quite rest away from the streets. Tremendously nice people, space, service, location, and food.

The transfer to from the airport was smooth and very clean and nice room, we go one of the higher end rooms for a nice couples getaway and couldn't have asked for a better space. The staff were fantastically helpful, we could go to them for tips on places we wanted to go, and they gave us suggestions on what app to use for transportation at the lowest price. Their food was also really good. Have a lot of nice options from breakfast to the a la carte menu. We didn't need to eat out that much because they had very good options, including many good nepali food staples. Great hotel

Great hotel that I can recommend! The service was great (received watermelon juice at check in) and when the breakfast was about to end I received a call to be updated. Also even when they had run out of certain things in the buffet they kindly made them for me. On the check out they helped me arrange affordable airport transportation and gave me a small scarf as farewell gift. Overall, always ready to support. The location was great too, could easily access Thamel but also could avoid crowds. Rooms were great but the spund isolation wasn't great though didn't bother me much.
