Had great time nice comfy beds super friendly staff and hotel is super dog friendly,had biscuits for our dogs and are allowed everywhere in hotel so very helpful when at breakfast we can have dogs with us. Breakfast was good it help your self buffet with cooked and continental on offer. If your looking for a dog friendly hotel this is definitely 👌 plus if you have a motor home they have bays for you to park in.

Waited an hour to be told the started ordered wasn't available another ten minutes to be told the main meal ordered wasn't available. Basic breakfast was OK. Then I was double billed for drinks and food from the night before.

Good breakfast and food menu selection. We stayed in a deluxe double. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Loved sitting on the veranda for our evening meal looking out onto the countryside watching the evening sunset

We had a nice stay here. The only bug bear was that there was not much fruit at breakfast. I do not eat fry ups in the morning. The only fruit was apples. Maybe a dish of mixed fruit or bananas would have been nice. The staff were really pleasant and the hotel itself was fine for our 2-day stay. The bedroom could have been a little bit more updated, paint off in most places, the en-suite was old fashioned, could be done up more modern really.

Could do with a little refurbishing in places - bed linen and towels Food average. King size bed but with a double size mattress topper on it!

Stayed for 2 nights. Good location for Pendle and surrounding area. Good parking. Good for the price, rooms a little tired in places but all acceptable. Very comfy bed and excellent power shower. Clean and tidy hotel. Breakfast average, but good for the price. Overall I would recommend and would stay again. Also note..They offer camper van parking pitches too, with brekkie included. Noted for future reference as we have a campervan.

While in the room, it was lovely and quiet, clean and had what everything we needed. We thought the design of the room was a little mis match. The staff were friendly, and welcoming. We had an evening meal, which was absolutely superb! Breakfast didn’t have what I prefer (croissants) however it was very nice. They provide cereal, juice, tea, coffee, beans, tomato, sausage, bacon, fried egg and toast. It’s a little shame they didn’t have scrambled or boiled eggs. Overall, we had a good stay.

Staff very friendly, room very clean. Unable to watch any tv as it was only able to receive radio channels! The member of staff on duty tried his best to help but couldn’t sort it out. No WiFi either.

Good food, nice bar,great staff, friendly atmosphere

The bar area was ok on entering our room it was cool and could smell damp ,some staff were helpful others were quite rude especially the older lady on reception when she barged into the dining area to shout at a member of staff In front of a busy breakfast sitting very very unprofessional and embarrassing for the young lady to be spoken to like that .

Decor and bathrooms a little tired but clean. Cooked Breakfast was available only after 8am

This is a cute place to stay but a bit dated. It is dog friendly and it was lovely to see so many furry friends enjoying a trip! We stayed in a building round the back which had some quirky wallpaper but needed an upgrade. Interesting rules around breakfast which were explained in terrifying detail by staff who had been well briefed - "You have 30 minutes from when you enter until you must leave, and you can have one hot drink refill". That was a bit much, but we complied!

Good bits: Very spacious room and nicely decorated. There was also a short cut to outside if we needed to take our dog outside. The room was very comfortable and just the right temperature and the bathroom was very generously sized with a bath and shower. The hotel and restaurant is very dog friendly which is great. We also appreciated the free dog treats on Reception. We went to the restaurant for our evening meal and the food was excellent. Not so good bits: The Wifi suddenly went off at 8pm and didn't come back on again. Also the breakfast - You are given a time slot and 30 minutes to eat your breakfast and drink your coffee/tea - Woe betide anyone who dares to go over that! The restaurant was half empty yet a couple who had arrived early were told to sit out of the way until everyone on that time slot had come in. We then witnessed a lady being told to leave her table even though she was still eating (the restaurant still had plenty of empty tables at this point). The bizarre rules and rude staff was commented on by a few guests while we were there.

We stayed a couple of week days and were allocated a lovely room in the annex. Bed was really comfortable and room was well decorated. Lovely quiet location. Food in the restaurant was excellent too. I recommend the hanging seafood kebab. We attended a family event in the on-site function room and this was well catered. One couple decided to stay the night even though they lived locally as there were already a number of us staying there for the family event. The last remaining room was a family suite (sitting room, two bedrooms and bathrooms, all self contained) which was really lovely as a group of us later stayed in the sitting room to chat for the remainder of the evening. I didn’t even know this hotel had a couple of family suites! We will definitely try to book this when we come up with our daughter next time. Staff all very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was great too. It even included mushrooms and hash browns which wasn’t included when we last stayed earlier in the year but that was over a weekend.

Another good stay, nice quiet room, great parking. Good breakfast although can be a bit busy at times! Staff always helpful.
