Large new hotel, conveniently connected to BTS as well as the airport link. From the airport train, walk towards to BTS. Once there, go to exit 2, which is a bridge directly connecting to the hotel building. To check in, you will need to go down to the ground level. Our room was large and has a fabulous open outlook. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows could be better. Aircon worked well and quietly, didn't freeze or sweat. You can hear some noise from the corridor though, as well as from neighboring rooms. This is somewhat disappointing. There are swimming pools at Level 22 and 37. Both pools are super nice when it is quiet early in the mornings. Different story when it is busy with kids and activities. The gym is OK. Not the smallest, but I was expecting more considering the size of the hotel. We had breakfasts in the hotel. Buffet is very large and spread out and also very busy. The food quality is OK in general. Many items are the same over the 4 mornings, and some items alternate every second day. Overall it was a good stay. A pity that there are no malls and activities in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. This is probably what is going to stop me from a repeat stay here as a frequent Bangkok visitor. But if you are a newcomer to Bangkok and expect to be out and about exploring the city, then this is a great base.
