Absolutely gorgeous place to stay in the countryside but conveniently located near major roads too. Staff were kind and helpful, although only 1 check in desk with 1 person checking people in so there was a wait. Beautiful room within a lodge. Very modern and a good size. Wonderful views over the golf course and country.

Beautiful location with lovely gardens and rooms. The room was clean and spacious and was cleaned everyday with an adjoining kitchenette.

The location was perfect for our last 2 nights in Ireland; it is close to Trim and an easy drive into Dublin Airport. The gardens are beautiful and lovely to walk through. Killeen Castle and abbey are intriguing and can only be viewed from their exterior, but still amazing to see. Down the street is Dunsany Castle and tours are only available in the summer. The same family has owned the castle for 600 years and it is still lived in. We were able to catch a tour, which wasn’t on our agenda but a nice addition.

Beautiful property! Stayed in Rose Cottage!

A beautiful setting and only 30 minutes drive from Dublin airport. The breakfast is excellent (try the smoked salmon!). The rooms are enormous and the bathroom is also very big. Very rare! On the downside - the price for one night. I have stayed in Killeen Castle before, for one night, before going to Dublin airport the next day. I seem to recall that the price was much lower. This time I paid Euros 238 for one person, bed and breakfast. But perhaps it was a higher rate because it was a Saturday.

Beautiful property and the rooms were air conditioned! I did think we would be staying in a castle, but apparently the castle is closed and under renovations being prepared to become an actual hotel, and the monastery onsite was also fenced off, so you couldn’t access the inside of it. If you want to golf, this is the place! Also the food was mediocre and expensive, and our dinner took a total of 2 hours from the time someone took our order to the time someone cashed us out.

Such a beautiful property. They were accommodating too or late arrival and the clerk even emailed us to check on us.

The hotel is a fantastic find close enough to Dublin town centre but far enough away to be in magnificent surroundings. Staff amazing especially Lisa front of house

Great stay, close to airport, but out of town

Advertises as a castle but is a shared house. Is a golf resort but not advertised as one. Wouldn’t stay again

Issues with electrical plugs Adapter for conversion to North American power was not addressed

Had a lovely stay. Room was very beautifully decorated and we had a balcony too which was an added bonus. Would definitely return.

Expedia messed-up my reservation and gave four adults a single king size bed. Then the Expedia representative was unhelpful in curing the situation and then rude yelling at me. Beyond unprofessional. However, the receptionist at the hotel was so helpful and accommodating. She was so great!

The room was clean, spacious and well decorated. The bed was soft and the shower was hot. The staff were friendly and helpful.
