Very old and small motel located in the old area in Medford. I would give it a better review at beginning. However, the breakfast was too simple and no place to eat. So, the price is not so cheap.

The City Motel is a hidden gem. The manager was very nice & welcoming. The rooms appear to have been newly renovate

It was a fine place to stay. The room was small and not well ventilated, but it did have AC.

We stayed in room 204 for four nights. The hotel is clearly older though very well-maintained -- will stay again. Room was recently renovated, decent size for our bags (a couple) plus storage for wine bought in the area. Central location for the Rogue Valley, downtown Medford, I-5, and easy access to Hwy 62 for Crater Lake. Great breakfast place on the street behind it (Buttercloud), good brewery less than 10 minutes away on foot (Common Block).

I haven’t been to Medford in a while. Coming in I saw all the homeless, loud cars, people ‘hanging’. I wasn’t scared but felt uncomfortable by myself. I’m glad I didn’t go anywhere! The A/C was loud and only cool. I really don’t like loud fans in the bathroom when you turn on the light. The room itself was clean, I was happy for hard floors and no carpet. I guess I’m not a good picker of motels!

This property is owned and run by the people that own it and it certainly shows. They care for like it's their own home in the thoughtfulness of the way they care for this place. I haven't stayed in a motel that was this nice in many many years. I have a new place to call home when I come to Medford. I'll definitely be back here and I'll recommend it to my friends or bring friends here.

Great place, quaint and friendly.

Check in time is 4 PM, which is later than expected. However, they allowed me to check in at 3. Rooms are generally smaller, but clean and comfortable. Shower is nice with good water pressure. TV, Refer and Microwave were newer.

Older motor lodge good value, clean and updated recently

Great value. The room looks like it has been recently remodeled. It is not luxurious but clean. But this is great for being motel. Everything included, I paid less than $100 a night. It is in the historical downtown area, great location. I just stayed one night so I did not take advantage of the location.

The motel is older, but refreshed. It was a quick stopover and adequate for our needs. The room was clean and comfortable.

Comfortable bed. Eclectic decor was a nice touch. Close to good place to eat Common Block. Traffic noise was a bit bothersome. Limited tv selection. Could stand upgrade to Smart tv.

Motel room has been done with style, nice amenities and a comfortable bed. The towel swans were a nice touch. Customer Service and check in was friendly and quick.

This is a good pace to stay if you want to walk around town. Maybe the best place for closeness. It is a motel so you get motel amenities which is basically none. No pool, no ice machine, no nothing, but the rooms are clean, its one block from downtown and the owners seem nice and friendly. It is family run. Support their business.

Holy cow and wow! This is an amazing property! Totally impressed with the eclectic theme and style of the property and my room. The owner left nothing to chance regarding my comfort and convenience! I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
