A great hotel in a great location. One pro tip that will vastly improve your stay in Varanasi: utilize their travel agency, Trip Choice Travel, run by Miss Varsha. Varsha is an amazing woman that goes far beyond just a travel guide. For example, if I tried to get a tuk tuk to go 2 km, it should cost at maximum 100 INR. When I tried to reserve one, it was impossible to get them to go below 200 INR. With Miss Varsha negotiating for you, you can get one for 50 INR or less. She helps you avoid the scammers, instructs you on temple protocol, and just does all the little things to make your visit so much more enjoyable. I am hoping and praying that I can find a Miss Varsha at every stop of my 45 day tour of India, but it is extremely rare to find a person of such great character and heart.

It’s not in the prettiest street but was only a few minutes walk to Assi Ghat. The room was clean and everything worked well. Great water pressure and hot water in the shower. I don’t really have any complaints.
