Polite staff

The place was outside of downtown Calgary but it didn’t matter’ you have grocery, restaurant and malls near the area and was frequently passed by the city bus, in between Canmore and downtown city

great location, clean room, helpful staff

Great location. Many nice restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel was very modern and clean. The only things I didn’t like were the underground parking cost $20 for 24 hours and there was no available spots after 11 pm but the staff was very understanding and refunded us for the parking and second the room had sheer curtains with blackout curtains underneath but if you want to nap in the day time and need pitch black, the blackout curtains leak light from the sides.

Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful, very modern. Extremely clean. High ceilings, beautiful artwork. Nice finished. Feels very luxurious, and smart. Quiet! Pup and LGBTQ friendly. (Board room has kids’ artwork in it. Dog bowl at the entrance.) Parking is paid and a little awkward to get to, but nice and for 24 hours with in/out privileges. I think it was CAN $22 per night. University of Calgary is a comfortable 7-8 minute walk, NOT 1 minute as listed on Expedia. They thought of SO many tiny details- in the room and elsewhere. Sleek restrooms on ground level have shared sinks- and tiny holders for your bag while you wash your hands. They had some items for sale at the front desk including items for your pup- I have never seen that! They even had a makeup towel, tampon and pantyliner in the bathroom in addition to the usual more common amenities. Convenient location by the University District- walkable, restaurants, upscale, near mall, college, & more. This is a LEED certified building- you use a room key inserted into a a lot at the door to work the electricity. Toilets are wall mounted and had a unique 2- flush style option. There are floor to ceiling windows on one entire wall with sweeping views of the city. High ceilings, windows lengthy of bold colors, a gorgeous bathroom with a frosted glass wall that adds enough natural light in the shower in the morning that a light was not even necessary. Nespresso maker/pods are recyclable. Tea/kettle upon request.

The hotel and staff was great. The only complaint that I have is the underground parking is very confusing. Some signage would’ve been very helpful, the first time I got lost and front desk had to help find me. But other than that, it was great. I was in town supporting my family through a difficult surgery and the location was very close to the hospital. I would highly recommend this property. July 2026

This was our honeymoon night on July 18th and the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing as when I booked, I had put a note it was our wedding night, so they gave us 2 gift cards for breakfast and a bottle of champagne. Lovely place and priced great for the quality! Thanks from H&P Thys
