My booking was cancelled because they had an overbooking and when asked for compensation they just gave me a phone number of another hotel and told me to book the room by myself

This property in Punakha is truly exceptional! The staff are incredibly attentive, the views are breathtaking, and the owner is wonderfully hospitable. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Punakha.

Lovely cozy room with spectacular view of river valley and local dzong. Note: road to get here is 20 mins of gravel switchbacks but my driver had no problem. Food was good.
