Unique hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel was centrally located in Durnstein which is a wonderful village. The price of this hotel was steep for room we received. Non the less, we were aware of the price and enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular hotel, in a spectacular location. We spent 2 night there on our 14 day vacation and it was everyone’s favorite spot

The hotel is a musty old building surrounded by musty antiques. If you enjoy nostalgia this is your place. If you enjoy crisp and clean accommodations with modern amenities look elsewhere. The staff was excellent.

O hotel fica no predio de um convento antigo. Quarto ótimo! De bom tamanho, confortável e bem silencioso. O café da manhã é muito bom e completo. O jardim da propriedade é muito lindo e com linda vista pro rio Danúbio.

Excellent location, charming place and would definitely recommend staying during the fall (however be aware of the date that hotel shuts down as the services are cut) upshot is that there are less tourist from bus, boat arriving during the end of the season

Sehr freundliches Personal!

Wundervoller Aufenthalt, super Garten mit tollem Pool, Personal ist sehr gut, sehr freundlich und sehr verbindlich egal in welchem Bereich, wunderbares Frühstück, schöne Zimmer mit schönem Balkon. Das einzige Manko ist eine fehlende Minibar bzw Kühlmöglichkeit im Zimmer. Sonst alles perfekt!

Virkelig skønt sted. Vi havde 2 hunde med, de var velkomne! Fantastisk morgenmad- alt lækkert! Dog mangler byen nogle flere spisesteder til aftesmad. Desværre lukkede hotellets Bistro kl 16.00!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely inn. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I could have stayed in all day to enjoy the view of the Danube. Dinner on the terrace was excellent and featured fresh and seasonal dishes. The breakfast buffet offered excellent variety and quality too.

Hotel is on beautiful grounds. Room was lovely and clean. It was very nice to have a nice outdoor balcony. Durnstein and the Wachau Valley is absolutely stunning. We rented bikes from the hotel for our three days while at the hotel....it was fantastic exploring the area, the bike paths are great! Only complaint is that the rooms do not have air conditioning and the weather was very hot....had to keep the sliding door open and because there was no screen it waa hard to keep flies out.

Everything about the stay was wonderful. Great staff, accommodations, meals, convenience and location. We would highly recommend.

A beautiful hotel in the gorgeous town of Durnstein in the Wachua valley. This is what Napa Valley used to be. A must visit for the history and wine connoisseur.
