Clean spacious room with good bedlinen & towels etc was excellent value. Well located in the middle of town -- close to bakeries for breakfast.

Great food & drink options at the pub underneath the accommodation, friendly helpful staff and the room was clean and comfortable......BUT.....OMG.....it was the night from hell with all the noise from the pub below and the customers loud drunk voices coming from inside the pub and also outside the pub under my room at the front of the pub until nearly 4am!! The pub is open until 2am on the Thursday night I stayed, but groups of people were still partying on in the main street outside the pub after they closed in groups with wild loud driving too!! I was worried about my car parked right outside the pub all night!!.......the parking advertised was about 3 spots at the back of the pub and only street parking in front of the pub. The rooms at the back of the pub might have been quieter.....but somehow, I doubt everyone got a good night sleep, especially when room 8 left me with a very sleepless night and to then continue working and driving 5hrs home the next day. The shared bathroom was also out of toilet paper in the morning in both toilets, which was far from ideal. Yes, it's in a pub, yes, it's at a lower price point to some accommodation in town.....but it was not a dorm, I was still paying for accommodation that did look great & present well online.....not expecting no respect for any paying guests to actually get some sleep and to hope their car is ok the next day! Great place for dining in the pub etc.....but staying here again is a definite no from me!

You’re staying above a pub. Dilapidated property, think “post soviet chic”. If you need a place to sleep, it’ll do. If you are looking for a cute spot, move on! No AC in bedrooms.

Clean and very comfortable bed , room 10 was great as right next to bathroom . Great staff , very friendly country atmosphere

The room, bed and carpet were very clean and respectable. The bed side stands could be improved with larger ones and the Venetian slats on the window need replacing and the trim around the fan needs securing. In the man’s bathroom… there needs to be clothes hooks installed to hang clothes and stand or small table needs to be next to the basin in order to place bathroom items whilst shaving.

The TV did not work at all. Hotel staff couldn't get it to work either. This meant our children could not watch a movie etc each night for entertainment. This was a major disappointment.

We love staying in this old style hotel with big decks. In great location.
