Very good service

Bon pour le prix. Pratique par sa location.

This place is up for sale. The open grated metal staircase was scary to climb to our room. You can see them from the front of the house. Also there was no mention that there was no washroom in your room. You had to used a public bathroom and shower. You had only a sink in the room. The restaurant was not open for breakfast and the bar was closed when we arrived at 8:30pm on July 6th. Over all the bed was comfortable and the Air Conditioner kept us cool through the hot humid night.

La plus grande déception vient du fait que la musique du bar était incroyablement forte et n'a cesser qu'à 3ham. Donc impossible de trouver le sommeil. Et ensuite c'est suivi une chicane de couple assurément en boisson, toujours au bar en bas, qui résonnait très fort et qui a pris une tournure sans sens entre 6ham et 7ham. Crié. Sacré. Pas joli à entendre. Nous ignorions où était la direction et pourquoi des actions n'ont pas été prise pour demander à ces gens de quitter le bar lors de la fermeture pour le respect des chambreurs. Le silence est revenu à 7h30am quand nous avons quitté, plus fatigué que la veille à notre arrivée.

Rooms are above a bar and the paper thin walls are litterally so thin you can follow the conversations and song lyrics. Everything is quite dated, keep your expectations low. The staff is nice. It's the one nice thing about the place.

Good place to stay for a budget strapped traveller. The room was clean and the food in the tavern below was good. The service was great. Now it has a shared washroom and public living space. It was a quiet nights sleep and an incredibly good price. A family group could easily crash here for a night or two. Altogether a pleasant stay.

Prix abordable

Quiet out of the way area. The rooms are small and the showers are common to the 8 rooms as is a table, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, etc.

The room is a bit small but once drunk, I didint really care about its size

Cozy room above the restaurant/ bar. Friendly check in , no frills, bathrooms down the hall, shared kitchen facilities, good showers & hot water- felt like staying overnight at a friend’s place or relative’s house. Bed was comfy enough and checkout was easy. Thanks!

It’s good for the price. Communal bathroom. Didn’t realize it at the time of booking. So I didn’t stay but it is attached to a restaurant that seems to serve good food. So it is convenient is you need to be in the area.

The entire community seem to be above average happy. Snowmobiles parked like cars, my kind of place. If you smile, they smile back.

Great place if you want a quiet time. The staff is friendly and there is a bar adjoined to the rooms that is convenient for a snack, dinner or simply to have a good time.

Calling this a hotel was deceiving. Hôtel du Chasseur is set up like a hostle and not a hotel. The rooms are tiny with shared bathrooms. The furniture is old and cheap. The bathrooms should have places to put your clothing while you shower. I would have been happier if they called themselves a hostle or inn.
