Excellent!

The staff was amazing, but the room had a smell to it, even though there was an air freshener (glade) plugged in. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Tub didnt drain well but the water pressure was great!

The Westgate is a gem. It is very clean, the staff is friendly, it is easy to get to and the parking is great. It is our “go to” place to stay in Portage la Prairie

Kathryn was very welcoming and accommodating! Easy to park. Modest breakfast.

Simple basic motel. Owners though are very very nice and willing to make you feel like true guests.

Although dated this motel was clean, friendly, and easy to access. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast was limited, but everything else was good

Room was okay for a 2star motel. Not much grassed area for walking the dog. The exterior parking area had lots of ice that was down right dangerous. There isn’t a lot of choice in Portage La Prairie.

Clean comfortable room, parking was a little tight with a semi parked across but thats not your fault, fan in bathroom #205 very noisy, went to have a shower and it turned cold within a couple minutes

The room was all right our biggest problem was the shower was not very good, the water temperature while showering would fluctuate from normal than extremely hot than very cold, I wound up burning myself. There was what looked like a poo stain on the wall next to the door on the inside and something splattered on the inside of the aluminum door. The pillows on the bed where small but ok. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was mediocre.

Front desk was amazing. I told him we had to leave really early in the morning and he made my husband and I travel breakfast.

Rooms were nice. Bath towels for showers too small. Water in showers hot and cold. Other wise really nice comfortable rooms
