Incredible views, excellent service and great accommodations and amenities for a reasonable price! First of all, our host, Richard, was there to greet us with a warm welcome when we came in on our first day in town. He was very responsive, friendly and helpful the whole time we were there. On the day before our departure, he helped us organize necessary preparations including taxi which we really appreciated. Room was very clean, nicely decorated and spacious with a balcony which had an incredible view of the Matterhorn! There is also a kitchen equipped with necessities which we used to cook our yummy leftovers from dining out. Easy public transportation (free bus) into town but you can just easily walk there as well. There's a dining room where we had a nice breakfast. There's also a game room for fun and relaxation and having the laundry room was very convenient. We loved staying here and felt like it was our home away from home after a day of skiing, shopping and dining. We will definitely stay here again when we visit next! Highly recommend!!! Richard made our stay at the Artist Apartments AMAZING! We loved every detail from the accommodation, to the common areas, to the wonderful raclette/fondue evening on Tuesday nights. We also had an incredible view of the beautiful Matterhorn! These apartments are walkable to everything including shopping, restaurants, and ski lifts. When we go back to Zermatt, we'll absolutely be staying here again!

Host was amazing! Beautiful property and well furnished up to date apartment. Only minus was construction nearby; but if you were out all day it was no big deal.

We enjoyed our stay and Richard is very accomodating host,pick up us when we arrived and dropped us back when we left in the train station.

It was perfectly simple for our needs. Great bed, nice kitchen and view that out of this world. Richard was amazingly helpful.

The place was clean and the manager was always responsive. It was great! We could see the Matterhorn from our room and deck.

First of all, I really want to say thanks to Richard. He made our stay more enjoyable. He’s very kind and helpful. The room was also great. It’s comfortable and and clean and has everything that you need. The view is amazing. You can see Mattehorn directly from the bed. When you open your eyes in the morning, Mattehorn says Hi to you.

6 nights in Zermatt. Richard picks you up at the train station. The apt is incredible. The view of the Matterhorn could not have been better. We spent hours sitting on the balcony looking at the view. The apt was spotless, roomy and comfortable for 4. Richard was very helpful and accessible . Great location to start your hikes everyday. The youth hostel is next door, but nothing a pair of ear plugs can’t handle. I would go back to the Artist Apts in a second, and recommend them to all!!!

The apartments were lovely and contained everything you might need. Richard is an amazing host, absolutely nothing was too much trouble, indeed he went out of his way to make our stay fabulous. His local knowledge is worth its weight in gold. We would definitely recommend a stay.

Richard was an amazingly delightful and incredibly friendly host. He was able to assist us with all our queries. The self-contained apartment was clean, warm and met our requirements. We were 10 minutes walk from the village and a stone's throw away from the shuttle bus. We would highly recomend Richard's world-class fondue and morning breakfasts.

Loved Richard's apartment with the skylight windows. Fantastic view of the night sky and Matterhorn. Comfortable apartment with everything you could need. Richard even picked us up from the train station for our late arrival and back for our early departure. Highly recommend!

WE decided to book this apartment for 4 days in Zermatt instead of a hotel room and we are so happy we did.Loved the location (short walk to town) and since Zermatt is small you can easily get to everything.After having spent 13 nights in hotel rooms in other towns during our vacation coming here were you have a kitchen was a treat for us.Room had incredible views of the Matterhorn. The owner Richard was so accommodating to us and would pick you up and take you back to train station after your stay. VERY pleased with this Chalet.Felt so comfortable at this location.
