Beautiful Property. Great Breakfast in a beautiful room

Hej Meget imødekommende receptionspersonale og i baren. Pænt hotel som ligger ca. 15 min gang fra midtbyen på gåben. Hotellet har en pæn pool, men desværre kun 8 solvogne. Der burde være dobbelt så mange. Udmærket morgenmad i fantastisk flot restaurant. Personalet ved morgenmaden var mange men der var kun en enkelt tynd ung pige med briller som arbejdede. Hovedparten af værelserne ligger i en nyere bagbygning. Pæne og store værelser. Ok Motionscenter i kælder. Stor tagterrasse som desværre ikke kan udnyttes. Ingen solvogne! Stor gavl med en kedelig facade. Gavlen burden enten males eller indeholde et gavlmaleri. Meget imødekommende hoteldirektør.

1. At check out twice they attempted to charge us for items that we did not used from their mini bar. They also wanted to charge for breakfast that we already paid for. 2. We had to move to a less desirable room after they promised that we could stay at the same room initially.

Dejligt hotel med rolig beliggenhed, men lidt langt og gå til floden. Snyder lidt med ny tilbygning i beton bagom og nogen værelser i kælderniveau og matcher ikke helt hovedbygning. Trygt sted og fin service og dejlige værelser og senge. Trist opsat morgenbuffet og total manglende service så øv med restaurant. Nok mere 4 stjerner, men samlet set et skønt sted

Mega lækkert sted med god placering. Hyggelig atmosfære og dejlig morgenmad. Men der er kun 8 solsenge ved pool og de kan være svære at få.

Very nice hotel. The property is finely restored and rooms are peaceful and comfortable. Although small, we enjoyed the pool. Staff at the reception were nice and attentive. Everything good except for the breakfast. Some of the staff were nice, others looked annoyed because us coming after10 - despite the fact of breakfast been served until 11.00 Few options. Sad coffe machine. We didn’t know it was possible to order coffee from a barista until our last day. Tiny cups for tea drinkers. Instead of serving bubbel wine on the morning, it would look better to offer proper tea (not tea bags) and coffee. The only thing we got as gluten intolerants was a packed gluten free bread that was impossible to chew. I understand there are few options in Portugal. But a five star hotel cannot offer such low quality food.

Absolutely loved this place. They restored a grand old hotel with modern touches while still preserving the beauty of an old world hotel. Service was wonderful. Location fabulous. Bed comfortable. Shower amazing. Lighting lovely. Linens furnishings classy. This is a place WELL WORTH the money. I would stay there again in a minute if I’m back in Porto.

Goed gelegen op wandelafstand van heel wat restaurants en tegelijk vlakbij uitvalswegen om daguitstappen te doen. Nieuwe kamers, stijlvol, samen met gerenoveerde delen van een palacio - onder andere een prachtige ontbijtruimte. Parkeren kan vlakbij tegen betaling. Behulpzaam personeel.

Ett ok hotell men inte samma nivå som de själva vill uppnå. De största minusen är pool och frukosten. Poolen alldeles för lite solstolar. I princip omöjligt att få stol vilket gör att man inte är vid poolen. Frukosten är ganska stor men det som skall vara varmt är knappt ljummet. Det är tomt i många skålar och låg kvalitet på maten. Det positiva är personalen som har hög servicenivå samt rummet som var stort och fint. Läget är ok med många bra restauranger i närområdet.

This is a very nice hotel but with many things to improve: 1- we had sewage smell in our roor for about half a day until they put a liquid in the shower 2- only 6 chairs a t the pool so if you don't get one by 8am, you won't have access to the pool 3- Pillows are in foam so expecting better pillows for that quality of hotel 4- there is a garage right beside the hotel so week days are noisy from 7:30am as they start working on cars.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The only negative was that the ac was not working efficient. Too hot in the room

Gustarme como gustarme ha estado bien pero no es nada funcional la piscina muy pequeña no te puedes bañar eh hay muchas cosas que no funcionan muy bien relación precio para mí eh es demasiado precio para lo que verdaderamente ofrece este hotel

Amazing property and staff

We had a very comfortable stay, it is a 30 minute walk to the river - which we expected - and was no problem. Our only concern was there a lack of staff and attention to detail- eg clearing away and providing pool towels, breakfast food.
