The check in is only between 5-8:30pm. I arrived at 9pm and luckily I called beforehand and the reception lady waited for me. The staff is very friendly. Everything was very clean. The kitchen is big and can allow 3 groups cook at the same time. The surrounding is serene. The river in the front provides natural white noise day and night, good for sleeping.

Lovely two night stay in YHA Boscastle. The receptionist was super helpful in suggesting places to eat etc. The room was clean and functional and there were plenty of bathrooms nearby.

Amazing venue and height of summer but we paid way over the limit for a night in a hostel. Lady we met was lovely.

Die Jugendherberge ist sehr wohnlich und gemütlich. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Einzig die Matratzen waren nicht gerade ein Traum. Aber das Gemeinschaftsbad war sehr sauber. Die Küche war großzügig und es war alles da, was man zum köcheln benötigt. Das Wohn-/Esszimmer war sehr gemütlich. Sehr freundliches Personal zudem. Und die Lage ist der Hit.

Fantastic, lovely, quiet and relaxing place near the natural harbor, just at the Coast Trail. Clean and pleasant room. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended to walk along the coast path.

Ir was a great experience to spend the night in such an old buildin so close to the sea. Totally recommended!

We were welcomed by a lovely friendly lady. Given all the information we needed and our room was lovely and clean and comfortable. Exceeded my expectations for the price we paid. We would definitely stay again.

One of the nicest YHAs we have stayed in. Room, albeit not huge, was sufficient for our needs. The kitchen is fully equipped, clean. Hostel conveniently located at the South West Coastal Path entrance into Boscastle. Parking nearby for offloading luggage.

Stayed at the hostel for two nights. Enjoyed our stay - comfortable, well appointed and equipped hostel. Linda was very friendly and helpful. Would be happy to stay again if we find ourselves in the area. Thanks.

We were upgraded to a lower floor room with self contained everything, due to my disabled mum having stair trouble. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the hostel was so comfortable and cozy, in a prime location right down by the water. We listened to the twinkling stream all night, right outside the window. It was a relaxing and comfy stay in a picturesque and enchanting village.

The scenic setting for this Hostel was incredible. The Kitchen was well equipped to handle a host of people, the lounge was cozy and comfy. I could have easily been comfort there for a longer stay.

Sehr idyllisch gelegene Jugendherberge, einen kurzen Fußweg entfernt von beeindruckender Felsküste. Sehr zu empfehlen, man kann selbst kochen und kommt schnell mit Mitbewohnern in Kontakt. Ideal für Familien und Einzelwanderer.
