It was a short stay but the hotel had everything we needed and a great night sleep as well. Comfort was definitely top of the list. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for long or short stay.

Hart Hotel was perfect. Medina was charming, people very friendly. You just go to your room with the code that is texted to you. Our room was a studio with small kitchen area. Hotel is convenient to the Erie Canal and we stored our bikes inside. The Newell bar in the lobby was very inviting and the employees very pleasant.

This place is a gem. The rooms are spacious and there are dining options downstairs. The beds were very comfortable, the digital check in process was very easy to complete and the room amenities were superb. We walked the downtown area and found good dining options available.

Repeat visitors. Wonderful property in Medina!

We enjoyed our stay at Hart House —our second— after a hot day riding the canal path. The room, Unit 3, was welcoming and small but cozy with excellent air conditioning and a spacious and clean shower with wonderful amenities. A very short walk to Medina’s best dining. Comfy bed, we slept great. We enjoy staying here after our annual trek home from the Shaw Festival. There is a little street noise but it quieted after 10 pm which was fine. Love that the in-room coffee is an excellent quality.

Very unique and classy use of old time building

Best AirBnb or hotel experience. The interior design, warmth of staff, toiletry offerings, simple and clear directions for the fireplace, every element of detail is carefully tended to at this hotel. The food and drinks in the cafe downstairs were delicious from a foodie perspective and they were happy to accomodate to those with simpler tastes. The hotel was pleasantly quiet, very walkable to plenty of dining options and GORGEOUS. Definitely plan to return.

Coffee shop attached was perfect !! Pandan pistachio coffee and delicious breakfast sandwich Newell was nice for nightcap .. bartender made excellent drinks and pleasant Zambristro was walkable with good rooftop bar and food

Only shortcomings of hotel were lack of grab bars in shower, and lack of comfort height toilets. Everything else was perfect!!! I will stay there again. Note: walk-in shower tile floor was not slippery, very safe.

We loved our stay. It was unique and beautiful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We will definitely come back. We enjoyed the cute outdoor area as well.

The Hart House was wonderful. Thoughtfully put together with a beautiful shower, very comfortable bed and cool decor. I already want to go back.

Hart House is nice and has a lot of character. Very clean. The bar area is very nice. On the downside, it has the slowest elevator on the planet. Note also there is no breakfast offered. There is no front desk - the hotel is completely self-service. I overall I give Hart House 4 stars out of 5. I would give it a 5 if the price was more reasonable, but I stayed on a Friday night and they jack up the rates significantly on weekends.

The Hart House is an excellent stop for anyone visiting the Erie Canal, or biking its length (which I was). My room was great and really enjoyed the cafe downstairs for breakfast the next morning. The owners are lovely.

Innkeeper very helpful and responsive. Room well appointed and clean. Great bathroom, comfortable bed. Elevator bldg. Bar on site with craft drinks, wines, beers. Light fare foods — tasty variety. Accommodating to cyclists. 🚴‍♂️. Will return!
