Hotels should not list this room as it is an absolute squat. Emergency housing at best. The drawer had rubbish in it, the window was broken, wifi useless, soundproofing non existent. A view of an alley accompanied by vomiting boys in the middle of the night. No air flow, sun trap so we went out until late in hopes that it would have cooled down. It did not. Weed smell as you ascended to your room. Shower literally scolded you at the same time as turning your stomach with the drain stench. Blood spot on the floor. The room photo is a joke as in simple terms it was a filthy cell not fit for paying guests.

Old carpets stains just knackered , paint peeling off walls window sill tea and coffee marks plus kettle balancing on window sill to be used with tea offee sugar sachets left on sode covered in tea coffee slops .bathroom smelt and run down didnt dare get a shower. My room was the best out of them . You should of seen the others single room my friend booked was in loft bed on floor wasnt cleaned on time had to wait until after we had been out for tea after 6pm. Shower didnt work. Just window high up. Other standard room same condition but shower did work. All rooms smelt of cannabis from peopke smoking .thought they were supposed to be none smoking. The apartments very run down nothing like the photos the gall way and stairs run down needs new carpets needed a good hoovering everywhere. Not a chance will book there ever again horrendous I was taken aback soon as I walked in hall way never mind seeing the rooms. Other guests arguing early hours shouting swearing. The whole building nothing like the photos on hotels.com. might be the hotel next door on photos . Very very disappointed wont be using hotels.com again due to this incase others in same condition.

I booked two single rooms, neither of them were good. Room 5 had no flushing toilet and really smelled of urine, no cleaning had been done there was loose tobacco in one of the drawers absolutely disgusting. The 2nd room no 20 was just as bad and the bed was broken and almost on the floor, no good if you have a bad back or knees

Great value property for a night in Scarborough, a tea towel would have been nice but we managed with a towel instead. Would definitely return.

Had a couple issue but quickly sorted out they changed our room we spoke with Hassan he sorted the problem out very quickly would say again the rooms were clean

Rooms were nothing like photos shown, two flat pillows, window in bathroom broken, could hear every noise from rooms above and adjoining, apart from this, not a bad location. No one on site, cheap stay,

No TV remote room wasn't clean and room stunk off drains

Apartment was cleanish, no living room like the pictures shown online. When we arrived we had no idea on how to even get in the main door let alone our room we found out by someone passing on the street that we had to go to the hotel couple doors up to get the codes for the main door and our room.

Advertised as a 24 hour check in but when I arrived at 10:00 pm (after giving confirmation on line of arrival time )I was still waiting outside for almost 45 minutes before I received a WhatsApp message with the door code on and which room I was staying in . So I didn't get to my room until nearly 11:00 pm .when I got in bed the noise from above me was hurrendace And as I eventually nodded off I was woken by a male banging and kicking and trying to open the door to the room shouting let me in Tim . I shouted he'd got the wrong room I heard him go down the corridor. A few moments later there was loud foot steps up and down the corridor of the floor I was on ,.So getting any sleep there is a no no . The en-suite was really small you couldn't have a shower if you are over the size of a 14/16 . Ther was no plug in the sink , the tv in the room didn't work and all though I went in march 2026 it was still quite cool and the heating in the room was on very. Minimal the radiators were barely warm,and the windows in both the room and en-suite were wide open , open to the limit of the hinges allowing them open the room was cold I had to sleep in pjs and a cardigan and there was only a thin quilt tucked on the bed maybe a 3.5 ish so I was cold even when I went to bed . Spent 2 nights there and never again .

No sea view but didn't ask for, or care about one. Had pretty much everything we needed. Honesty can't fault it. If we can we'll definitely go back the next time we're there. Hidden gem in our opinion.

Well were do i start, in the whole place yhere was only 2 electric staoarge heaters one in main bedroom and one in other bedroom, non of the radiators work at all, was so cold there, there was 4 of us which yhe apartment is for 5 but there was only 3 plates there was only 2 pans thats it no other kitchen appliances, toilet seat was hanging off, the shower is a joke some one in the block as excess to the switch to turnnoff our water which we had no water all night, when i spoke to owner he said becasue its in some ones elses room and they might of turned off becasue of noise, bloody joke, also yhe hot water is dangerous comes hot soon as u turn it on. The tap in bathroom sink is loose, at to tell kids not to touch it at all, shower comes out hot and cold all the time. The pictures on site r not correct pictures if so must b another hotel. The balcony door does not shut properly and cannot lock it, its not worth the money At all, i would only give 1 star but thats for the size and view. dinner plates,

The flat was huge & perfect for our family, very reasonably priced. Contacted the phone number and answered straightaway & answered my query

Very nice stay , bedding , towels , etc, white like new nice clean. It is older building but has been refurbished. Kitchen has new units , well equipped oven, microve, toaster, kettle. It is number key entry for main door and flat but easy to use and convenient for whater time you arrive. As a family with small child had a good stay.

Filthy flat! Cooker grill full of old fat bath had hairs in it, shower screen grimy as shower tray, bed sheet filthy stain on it, beds hard as rock, half plug sockets didnt work ! Sink in kitchen hen dirty! Dirty containers with old hard sugar stuck in it plus other stuff that yuk, flat was cold, only 2 radiator in bedroom for a big flat, even stairs up to the flat was grimy,

The place was disgusting all rubbish out the entrance. Smelt of marijuana,all black bags with dirty rubbish or laundry left on both flights of stairs making it hard for a partially sighted person to get upto apartment. All the beds are unfit to sleep on as all the mattresses need replacing springs sticking into you.no hot water for a shower kitchen not clean bathrooms had a dirty drains smell,toilet not clean stains of feaces from pervious customers,broken chair left on the stairs. Everything is a health and safety hazard the place is illegal no fire escape when your in a apartment upstairs. The place unfit for people to stay in and charged for the amount that's charged. AND IT'S UNFIT TO BE ADVERTISED ON ANY BOOKING SITE.

Unfortunately the pictures do not give a true description of the property which is a shame as the location is fantastic. From the outside it is grim. Rubbish everywhere. There was no TV in the kitchen area so nowhere for us to gather as a family (one is shown in the picture). There were no plugs in one of the bathroom sinks and kitchen sink so you couldn't wash your dishes in the kitchen or yourself in the bathroom sink. The water in the showers was unpredictable - hot one minute cold the next. There was limited kitchen equipment - 2 small pans, 1 frying pan, 5 plates, 5 bowls, 5 mugs (2 chipped), 5 small glasses (no wine glasses), no jug or colander - not enough to cater for 5 people (we had to buy a large saucepan and jug!. The fridge is a mini fridge - so couldn't store enough food/drink for 5 people. The table and chairs were wobbly so we had to fix these before using them. 1 Chair we could not fix. The beds were really uncomfortable - they need new mattresses (didn't sleep very well at all) - no mattress or pillow protectors either. The double bed valance sheet had an awful stain. One of the single beds had a stain (not sure what it was!!) so had to remove from the bed (luckily only required 2 of the single beds). There was only 1 pillow each and 1 bath towel - no hand towels (as shown in the pictures). We will not be returning to this property.

Whatsapp message the night before told us how to get into our accommodation. Self check in with key code - no issues. Was nice to have a bedroom each (3x double beds). Flat smelt of stale water and is in need to some TLC. Only staying one night so didnt really both us. Kitchette and dining table nice but no sofa/lounge area. Smart tv in each bedroom is a nice touch.

There are no adequate words to describe how terrible Harbor Flats are. Its dirty, appliances dont work, there are no fire safety precautions signposted, no fire escapes, there are not enough utensils or crockery in the kitch to all it self catering. There were no plugs in the bathtub or sink the shower didn't work correctly- this is also a half way house and not vacation apartments - not in the listing! Stay elsewhere, premier inn is just over the road, better everything there

I really enjoyed staying there its great to walk to the front and go on the beach good for the money and comfortable nice and clean
