Clean and functional rooms, good price, easy one stop to Windsor castle

Great handy location for visits to Windsor and London by train. The property is clean but a little tied with no real amenities. It is a fair price for the location.

No running water at property the no solution provided of it wasn’t my fault. No offer of a refund or free stay he said it was a council issue to solve. Had to leave in the early hours of the morning to try and find somewhere to shower and brush my teeth

Great staff on reception, parking close to motorways and amenities

Parking was minimal, I had to pay for parking at the station, then moved my car later. Room was clean, no issues. I thought the lounges were great, however no bar or food let's it down.

Great location, friendly staff. Room a bit dated, no plug sockets near bed for chargers, very basic toiletries, mattress felt like it had a split in it although I did sleep well

The room was spotless and cosy, also the tv was great, YouTube, BBC, All 4 and so many more available.

The heating was not on and the duvet was so thin I struggled to get warm. The fire alarm went off at 0400 in the morning.

The overall appearance of the hotel is it totally run down the bar is totally closed no parking as this is used by staff

Bed was situated in an awkward position under eaves. The bath had bath had blades of grass on the bottom of it and the toilet had been used and had not been flushed and obviously not been cleaned. Have stayed in this hotel once before but this visit will definitely be our last. Would most definitely NOT recommend to anyone

There were no parking spaces available so I had to pay for Railway Parking. Despite having lots of work done to the interior of the hotel it still felt tired & it even though it had what looked like a bar and restaurant, there was no food or drink available. My room was ok, but the mattress was shot, the tv required Roku subscription so I couldn’t use it & the toilet flushing mechanism broke. I had to move the ballcock to stop the noisy constant run of water

We decided to stay at Datchet because of the parking issues in Windsor as that was the purpose of our stay to visit Windsor Castle, with it being just a 20 minute walk we thought it would be a good choice, coffee in Datchet and breakfast in Windsor. The room we were allocated was tired and could do with a revamp, carpet was well worn with bare patches toilet didn't flush properly obviously they were having issues with it because the panel was loose on the floor, booked as a double room we only had one cup in the room and no spoon, we aren't fussy all we want is somewhere to sleep as we eat out and spend our days exploring.

2nd stay at this hotel and it was a surprise to learn no breakfast, no WiFi. The hotel has deteriorated and needs work. The water flow in bathroom sink was useless and shower not great. Bath still had plastic wrapping on it. The staff are friendly enough but it’s a pretty poor hotel on the decor and facilities front. Could be so much nicer.

I had a really good stay at the Manor in Datchet. This was my second stay in 3 years and the quality has improved. A warm welcome, attentive staff and clean room, lovely. My only request would be to have a bar fridge in the room as it was very hot. Otherwise … I’ll be back next year.
