I chose this villa specifically because it had a private swimming pool. However, upon arrival, the guard informed me that the pool was completely unusable. He explained that the previous guest didn’t want to be disturbed, so the pool hadn’t been cleaned. He assured us it would be cleaned and ready for use, but that never happened. No one followed up or even apologized for not keeping that promise. Meanwhile, the pools in other villas were working just fine. I believe all guests should receive the same standard of comfort. It doesn’t make sense that I couldn’t use the pool just because a previous guest didn’t want staff around. Also, the location is not very close to the main attractions. Getting from one place to another by bicycle takes quite some time. Overall, I was really disappointed and will look for a different place if I visit Gili T again in the future.
