Old Georgian building with lots of character, right by the River Severn.
Huge beer garden/outside eating area.
Easy walking access to centre/cathedral/ racecourse/river walks.
More modern annexe is a bit bland, and the rooms are quite small. Especially those on the top floor, as part of the ceiling is sloping. Decent sized bathroom though. Although a fan was supplied, the windows could only be opened a small way, so room was a bit stuffy.
The pub is very popular and gets very busy at peak times.
