Good location in Chinatown but the room didn't look anything like the photos, no knob on shower so it was hard to adjust temp and turn off and on.

Akses hotel sangat dekat dengan MRT, sehingga sangat mudah untuk pergi ke mana-mana. Hotel 1929 sangat recommended untuk orang yang suka backpacker-an.

Overall, it was a good place to stay. The staff was so friendly and the location is just in the middle of Chinatown, near the MRT and bus station. But for you who are concerned about a peaceful stay, you have to consider this. Because the hotel itself has a bar and beside the hotel is also a bar, so it gets crowded and loud during the night.

The room is very small but following budget. The staff is very nice.

TV didn't work and air con was spotty sometimes. Also what 's the point of a hot water kettle if there are no packets of coffee or tea. However the lady working there was excellent and. Very friendly and gave good directions. Location great.

The hotel is strategically located within a 5-minute walk to nearby MTR stations with 3 MTR lines to choose from. Plus, very close to Chinatown area where one can find great foods and local cultures. The only disadvantage is the noise coming from the hustle and bustle nearby the hotel. It seems like the room window is not properly insulated, so need to wear earplugs to sleep. The noise seems to reduce after midnight I suppose. The room that I choose is very basic but adequate for 1 guest. Room rate was good, so I suppose you trade location and rate for some comfort. Reception is basic but helpful and efficient.

Got a very strong smell across the corridor until I wanted to vomit. The room that was assigned to me is very dim with certain lights broken.

The hotel is very decent. The location is good. It's clean, near several hawker centers and Newton MRT. The staff is quite nice. The room space is small, but you get what you paid for. The shower is nice, hot water works very well, and you get a hairdryer and hot water maker in the room.

It was mouldy, grimey, and dusty. I was concerned if there were bedbugs, thankfully there were none. It was THAT filthy. Stayed two nights, only slept well the night I was piss drunk. The fantastic bars along the road were definitely a plus! The reception & housekeeping were very polite though. I blame the hotel owner for not spending the money to fix the place up. Coming from the luxuriousness and cleanliness of central Singapore to this dump in the centre of Singapore was a shock to me. What a disgusting, filthy, place with shoddy maintenance & rooms. Heed my advice: it is 100 % worth the extra price to go elsewhere.

Great. We got an offer from a queen bed to a king bed. The location is near Outram Park and Maxwell, and many bars and Chinese restaurants. Thank you 🙏.

The receptionist is so friendly and helpful. My room had a water leak from the aircon. The staff provided good support and fixed it immediately. The location is okay, not far from the bus stop. Overall, it was a reasonable price to stay.
