5/5 Stars: A Hiker’s Dream!
We had a fantastic stay at The Rambler Inn, where the hospitality is as warm as the rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the entire place was spotlessly clean. We loved the unique touch of rooms being named after local trails! After a long day, the powerful hot shower and cozy, toasty room were exactly what we needed. The food was a major highlight: for dinner, I had a delicious steak and ale pie with chunky chips and veggies, while my partner enjoyed the haddock and chips. Breakfast was equally impressive, featuring a proper traditional English with a great Cumberland sausage and eggs cooked to perfection, plus a lovely Eggs Benedict. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommended!
