Such a lovely central hotel - staff were excellent. Breakfast was fab. Bar area is class. Really comfy bed. We would stay here again.

Fantastic stay in the inner sanctum suite. Large, warm and comfortable with many of the quirks you’d expect from this hotel. Friendly staff from beginning to end and the coctails (especially the margaritas) are just beautiful paired with standing on the balcony and watching the world of Manchester go by.. I advise you to book the delicious afternoon tea the day of your arrival about 1pm so afterwards you can check in at 3pm. The breakfast was ample and of good quality and like I said the staff were friendly and helpful. My favourite thing? A Bluetooth gramophone in our room and I now want one so badly 😁 it’s the little things like that that make us want to return which we definately will as soon as we can. Thank you Gotham hotel and all who sail in her!

Our stay was truly amazing. Staff so professional, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast superb. Room very plush and decor to very high standards. Cleanliness excellent. Will certainly stay again. Highly recommended.

we have stayed several times - last year we stayed and they charged us twice which took weeks to sort however it was sorted so we decided to stay again. we had a nice room and megan looked after us well however when i got home i again noticed we had been charged for items we didn’t have. when i called to discuss i was told room service says you had them so you must have and we can’t do anything about it. there is no way we had the items so i have emailed the general manager and am yet to hear back - hotel gotham have again turned a nice experience to one where i am being called a liar

Arrival at hotel was to a chaotic reception and no bell boy to asssit. Bed was a tiny queen bed in an otherwise well appointed bedroom. A bar next door the hotel was accepting early morning deliveries preventing one from sleeping. Bar service uostairs was beyond slow

Hotel was very unique and clean. All staff were friendly and the room was bigger than expected.
During our stay the bar wasn’t open which was a shame we wanted to try all the hotel had to offer. The key card holder as soon as you walk in the room was also broken and was on the floor when we opened the door to the room.

Lovely venue, great staff and super location. We had the Inner Sanctum Suite which was really well decorated. However, we both had a disrupted night due to how thin the walls are. The noise of the corridor and doors opening and closing transmitting into the room was disappointing. It really let the overall experience down.

Came for my husbands birthday. Stayed one night in the inner sanction suite. Room was amazing. Start to finish all the staff were attentive , had evening meal at honey restaurant and the food was excellent.

The concept and design of the hotel is great. Location is also good. The room was nice and quirky. Half of the staff were friendly the other half seemed miserable. However the cleanliness of the hotel was far below expectation. For a 5 star luxury hotel and the price per night you expect it to be pretty clean. There was a lot if cosmetic damage which I understand but perhaps not to that extent, they used decorations to hide some. Milk was off in the fridge and looked used. I expect more from such a hotel.

Stayed here to visit Manchester Christmas markets , great location, fantastic hotel. Parking and concierge is worth the hassle free nature, however Manchester driving seems to have collapsed with traffic so be aware.
Breakfast is as good as you could ask for as is dinner having enjoyed both. Staff at both dinner and breakfast were top quality with nothing they would not help with. By coincidence having met at check in, Breakfast and collecting our car at the end of the next day, it is clear that the GM Jenni is a very kind, intelligent and caring person that really wants everyone to have the perfect stay. Due to horrific weather during our stay I watched both Jenni and a gentleman on consierge give out their own personal umbrellas to guests.
While the hotel do give all guests umbrellas, they clearly ran out on the front desk and in the case I witnessed, some guests are either too thick or too entitled to realise they had one in the wardrobe.
Thank you too all the staff your hard work does not go until noticed and I wish Jenni and her team all the best for Christmas.
