Realky nice hotel with very friendly staff. Would happily return and recommend.

Basic but comfortable hotel. Stayed as had an operation at a hospital nearby. Room didn’t look much like the pictures but did the job.

The staff were welcoming services was excellent the food was lovely if we are in the area again we will be booking there thank you

The rooms in the annex are very loud, could hear conversations from multiple rooms, the gap under the doors is large enough to hear quiet conversations in the corridor

My first night was disappointing as there was lots of door slamming noise through the night. However, the manager called me to apologise and put me into a lovely quiet room for my second night. thank you (Maybe you could consider amending the door closures so they don't loudly slam? or put up notices asking guests to close the doors carefully)

Customer service is really good at this hotel

On arrival it was very disappointing to be checking into a reception area that was not the beautiful space shown in the hotel’s pictures. You could see stains on ceiling where water ingress. This had a very negative effect and didn’t set a good mood for the stay, the shear disappointment. The double bed room had the adequate amenities and was very clean. The bathroom was the best part with a great shower, however, the glass shelf had clearly been broken previously and was removed but not replaced. Thus no where to place toiletries. The noise in the room was the biggest issue. I and my wife could clearly hear both sides of the next door telephone conversation, door slam is loud and the floors allow every footstep with 20 meters to be heard. Breakfast was very decent for the price. The Manor and garden itself are beautiful and when a wedding or event is not happening, absolutely a lovely place to spend time. The staff were the next best part. Very friendly and genuinely cared.

Hotel is a great location for trips to Harry Potter, this was the reason of our trip, when booking just ask the hotel if any party's booked because if your in the Botham suite or any rooms towards the rear of the mansion house expect to be up late with music and general noise as the party marquee is located to the rear on the patio, which is not ideal if you have little ones. Drinks are mega expensive, food is fairly ok on price.

The hotel is set in lovely surroundings and not far from Harry Potter studios which is why we chose this hotel. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice. There are some nice places to drink and eat nearby.

This is my second stay at this hotel, it’s within a short distance of Warner Bros studios which was the reason we chose to stay the first time. We came back again a second time because of all of the available amenities, such as pool, on site restaurant and bar. The staff are lovely and rooms clean and tidy.

Lovely hotel, a little dated in places but would stay there again if in the area.

Everything you would hope from a nice hotel. With an extra bonus of a little Christmas card and small stocking from the hotel for each room. very nice atmosphere.

Hotel is really lovely with great staff- very friendly and accommodating. Bed was very comfy and it’s well located. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast as this was a bit of a waste of money as the quality was quite poor.

We stayed for 1 night , the room was slightly dated but was comfortable and had everything you need, the room was clean but there was some stains around the room and bathroom however you could tell the room was clean. The cooked breakfast was good and the cold breakfast was great with a really nice selection , i would definately stay again if i was in the area.

We stayed for a couple of nights over the Christmas period to visit family. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room gave us everything we needed and I even managed to fit in a swim in the small pool. The bathroom was a bit tatty round the edges from water damage. The bar would benefit from some background music to give it more atmosphere. We would likely stay again.

Had a pleasant stay over Christmas at this lovely hotel. Staff were very helpful, professional and friendly.

The properties main area were spot on lovely clean and modern. The room however was dated, toilet dirty, door hard to close, towels grey (preciously white). Not the best condition. Nice staff
