I was really impressed with this hotel.
I travel a lot for business and haven't stayed at an IBIS for years. I was really surprised with how good this hotel is.
The room was comfy, nice staff and great breakfast.
Only thing to note - you can only get discounted car parking if you prebook.
Other than that, this was a great stay.

Nice friendly staff, the rooms are comfortable and clean, it’s cheap and cheerful, ideally situated for China town, Canal St, Peter St is just around the corner, shops are a short walk.
They have a lovely little bar should you want a drink in the hotel

Luxury room, spacious, clean & convenient to local amenities, restaurants & stores. Comfortable king size bed, with good, hot water pressure - just plug lever behind tap not obvious! Fan heater disappointing to not work efficiently, on cold evening, staff did best to accommodate us.

Pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Read some of the reviews and was unsure of staying but thought some people are picky and gave it a chance. I’m glad I did, it was a bargain at the price.
The staff were very friendly, polite and attentive. The hotel foyer was clean and had a nice little bar, had a lovely hot chocolate from there to warm up from a cold walk back from an evening out.
Room was spotless and had a lovely comfortable bed. There is an heating switch so you can control the temperature in the room.
I would recommend the hotel for a stay in Manchester as is only 10 - 15 mins walk away from the majority of places.
Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at ibis 96 Portland Street. Our room was very clean and all members of staff were friendly. Excellent breakfast.

Staff really friendly. Stayed on a Friday and street outside noisy until around 4am. Needs triple glazing. Also TV didn’t work.
