Even with the renovation works, our stay was perfect. I do think that the difference between the two spa option is a little unnecessary but the basic option was great!

Lovely staff especially at the bar which was fitted out beautifully and I loved the little history lessons in the bar menu.
The doors slam really hard and wake you up so soft closing doors would be a good investment!

Fantastic hotel, great facilities pity about event planning, not well organised, poor communication, staff and kitchen were at logger heads and were unable to deliver the menu agreed. Service was terrible or excellent depending on who was in charge on the day.

Room clean and comfortable. Staff all polite and helpful. We had allergies and found the staff were knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make eating out an easy and enjoyable experience. And of course the food was delicious and of an extremely high standard .
