Hotel Astoria - Astotel

This hotel is very convenient for taking the metro. It is in a quiet neighborhood. There are lots of dining options and a wonderful Artisan patisserie right around the corner. Maria was exceptionally helpful in giving me directions to places I wanted to visit. It is close to Montmartre, and the shopping around this area is much cheaper than central Paris. The room is small and that is typical of Paris. The bathroom has adequate space. It was cleaned every day and the service at breakfast was great. Around 2 pm they serve snacks and drinks which is a great gesture to the clients. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient to transport and family room was good. Carpet in ruins could be refreshed.

They did not have the room we booked available so they put us in a room with basically no windows so that we all fit. The beds were very hard and the pillows flat and hard. Never got a comfortable night of sleep. The room was clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly but I was still frustrated that they gave our room away. The location was good.

The property is fine enough. The problem was that they did not reserve the room I booked. I was supposed to have a family room with 2 separate rooms and they put us in a triple all together. They blamed it on people training at the front desk. We will supposedly get some money back but we were very disappointed with the room problem.

It was very convenient for us to have the possibility to rent a "family room", which is made up of two rooms and both rooms have two beds and a bathroom each. There is an additional door in the hallway so that you could keep the room doors open to have access to both rooms. However, no door stops were provided so it wasn't super easy to keep the doors open. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The temperature in the rooms was hot and A/C is not available outside of summer, but we were able to resolve this by opening the windows. The hotel location is excellent. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as public transportation. We did not have breakfast in the hotel and instead chose to eat at nearby cafes and boulangeries. The decor is funky and fun. We very much appreciated the free mini bar filled with two bottles of water, 1 sparkling water, 1 soda, and 1 apple juice. There are also water, sparking water, sodas, and snacks available in the lobby in the afternoons and evenings, which was a great bonus. You can stop into any astrotel to benefit from this bonus throughout Paris. Hotel access requires a room key or someone from the front desk will have to let you in. While this is secure, one night someone was waiting to get in and walked in after us. Although we notified the person at the front desk, he brushed us off and didn't take any action. We never felt unsafe, but this seemed to defeat the purpose of the secure entry.

Rooms and bathrooms were small - no plug in bathroom for hairdryer- beds were so uncomfortable and pillows were flat

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel seemed kept up and cleaned. The snacks in the lobby, drinks in the room and Olympic welcome gifts were nice. The rooms were smaller than expected and we asked to be changed rooms for more space. We were able to get a room change and however, it was also small but the bathroom was bigger. The room floor boards need repairing as they were squeaky with every step.

It was very convenient, we walked to Montmartre every day, we were able to walk within 40-45 min to all major sights, the breakfasts were very fulfilling, we had enough free drinks for all three of us, staff were friendly, accommodating and caring.

My family of 5 just checked out after a five night stay. We were in rooms 214 and 215, which adjoined through a secure hallway. The location is excellent to many sights with tons of great food options. It's a little less touristy than other areas like around the Eiffel Tower or Louvre, but we liked that. The restocked mini bar with water and soda was fantastic, and they set out snacks late in the day which was nice to return to while we sorted out dinner. Would definitely stay here again.

The night we checked in, the gentleman working was so nice! But the next night the 2 working were not helpful.

The rooms were super super small. The staircases were dirty and tight. The furniture in the rooms was on the cheap side, very flimsy. It wasn’t worth the price per night

Location close to Montmartre, walking distance. Close to subway stations, connected rooms ideal for family with two bathrooms.

This was my first trip to Europe so really didn’t know what to expect with the hotels I booked. We were very satisfied with Hotel Astoria, the space was reasonable, and the location to the Metro and bus stops was perfect. Happy that we stayed a little away from the center of main attractions as the neighborhood was quiet and had shops and food readily available. Staff was extremely helpful on multiple occasions. Room a/c worked great! Would stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying here.We kept adding days to our trip. The location was superbe. Withing 2 mins walk you had either a metro or bus stop. All the metro stops were well indicated. You could be at your designated stop within 20-30 mins max. And able to walk to others as well. We found a favourite bakery just down the street. We felt completely safe in the area. The room was spacious & cozy. Looking out the window was nostalgic. Picturesque view. We were able to keep the windows open. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly & ready to help. They had free croissants, treats, water, tea after 2 pm that was delicious. I have recommended to a friend travelling in September & posted on SM. We would most definitely come back & stay here by choice. So grateful to have found this gem.
