Novotel Nice Arénas Aéroport

I stayed at this hotel because it was convenient to take an early morning flight. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport every 30 minutes. It was conveniently moved to Terminal 2 of Nice Airport. Thank you to the hotel staff for your warm response when I checked out early. Nice remained warm in my heart thanks to you on my way out to catch a flight out of Nice.

Good for a airport stay, very clean and upscale enough. thoughtfully laid out rooms

We took two standard rooms with two beds for our family of 4 adults. The rooms are not very big. The lobby was nice for us to meet with friends. The hotel offers free airport shuttle which is the main reason we stayed there. Not so many restaurants close by.

Very nice and helpful staff and services (prioritised our needs and resolved the problems). The food and beverages at the restaurant and bar were great. For a family room, it would have been helpful to provide more facilities e.g., a proper closet for clothes. Since there was no lawn or area outside the hotel to sit/relax or play with kids, an indoor hotel swimming pool facility will be a great addition that will attract more families with kids.

Hotel was nice and excellent staff! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Restaurant had the best veal osso buco I've ever had! Superb!

This was a terrific airport hotel. Really good restauratnt. Nice free shuttle to airport. Not clear whether yu can find shuttle to hotel from terminal 2 which is difficult to get a taxi or if yu take the tram a really long walk https://issuu.com/showcasepubs/docs/hres_fall2024/60 to airport.

We had a good stay here. Rooms were a nice size. The staff were super friendly. The only thing was the room smelt a bit musty. We opened the window and it cleared but we closed the window and left for the day when we got back it started to smell again. Nothing horrific but it’s the only thing stopping it being a 5 star rating.

Great stay, it is very corporate so not the place to stay for a holiday. Great for being close to the airport. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

This was a great stay. The original room we were assigned smelled like smoke and they gave us a new room without any fuss. Things I liked... Hotel is modern and resembles some of the big resort chains in North America. The hotel has a nice looking lounge in the main lobby area as well as a nice bar and restaurant. Even though you’re across from the airport, we didnt really hear any noise while in the room. Things that could improve... The washroom was wonderful. The only thing was that water would seep out on the floor when you took shower and you need a lot of towels to clean it up. The other weird thing was that they offer an airport shuttle when they are within walking distance of the airport so I found many staff would discourage us from taking it so that service didnt really have any value to us even though it was a selling point for them. There was some confusion about whether I paid the full city tax since the staff checking us in made a mistake which meant I had to do 2 separate transactions. Apparently there was no record of this in their system so they were asking me to pay again so I showed the receipt. The lesson here is to keep your receipts handy.
