Good value for money In a very convenient part of the city, in terms of transport

Convenient location to everywhere. Direct S-Bahn to Potsdam. Walkable distance to most of the sightseeing locations. Still quiet and peaceful away from Potsdamplaz.

Compare with other hotels that we stayed, this one was not very great.

A great hotel for our long-weekend break in Berlin. The hotel is within walking distance of many key sites, or the metro is just across the road. Hotel was very nice, lovely snack and bar area (no food served in the evening), but the breakfast (at 22 euros per day) seemed very expensive by comparison to what you could get from a local bakery or café, so we passed on this. A small gym is available and the surround neighbourhood felt very safe if you were considering a local run in the city. Our only niggly issues were that our room was booked for three people and all amenities were set up and provided for two (chairs, mugs etc.) and we had an issue on one day with our room not being serviced, but the reception team sorted this issue. We would recommend for a stay in Berlin :)

Staff were very accomodating. Location is good, right by the Platz and Checkpoint Charlie. Very walkable.

Close to train station but far away from everything for walking.

Air conditioner was not good

It was nice stay. I liked the location. The staff were friendly. The bath and toilets were clean. For a small family it was overall a nice hotel. The room was big enough for 4 people. I would definitely book again if I come to Berlin

Not enough cups or cutlery for all those staying, 2 pcs of everything in a 4 birth room. But very nice and clean hotel.

The location is good, there’s a metro right next to the hotel. The room was good in terms of size. The front desk staff needs to work in be more helpful to the guest. We had a problem with the safe box in the room, it got locked and didn’t want to open so we call front desk and they told my husband that they couldn’t help because they were too busy and couldn’t do anything. Are you kidding me how you tell a guest that ?? Our passport and other important and valuable things were in the safe box so how you dare to tell me you’re too busy to help and you can’t do anything? Worst guest service I ever experienced. They also need to improve in terms of cleanliness and/or inspect for any plagues in rooms, because there were cockroaches coming out of the microwave area.

I wanted a room in Berlin for myself and my two adult sons and this worked well. We had twin beds and a sofa bed which were all comfortable. The small “kitchen” area was adequate for making morning coffee and heating up our porridge pots. We liked having a toilet that was separate from the bathroom. The shower was good. A comfortable short stay.

Nice-sized room. Separate toilet room from bath. Plenty of closet/storage space. Slow and odd-working elevators, friendly staff. Extremely high price for breakfast (+22 euros!), small, cramped fitness room (but at least it had one). Housekeeper walked in our room one morning without knocking. Convenient location with a nice coffee shop and a Lidl grocery store just stpes away.

Would have been higher if desk clerk had not been snarky. Toilet is like a portalet. Bath and toilet are all plastic walls and floors.

Staff overall friendly and helpful. Needed a couple of repairs done (eg leaking shower hose, clogging basin) which took a couple of days to do. Also housecleaning entered room even when ‘do not disturb’ sign was up (we weren’t there)… otherwise fine standard fare. Location is central and really accessible via public transport.
