As usual it always have fun staying in Amaris. Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff. Nice room and tea maker is available now (smart room). Nice food with complimentary tea and coffee at the dining room. Great location, just few steps away from Nagoya hill mall, Circle K for easy shopping, etc. Keep up.a great job Amaris.

I stayed for 6 nights. The staffs are very nice and helpful. No lifts available, so you might need help with your luggage if your room is at the upper floor. Check in is around 2pm local time, but you can check with them first, if your room is ready, they might allow you for early check in. The room is ok, but the towel is quite old and worn out. Be sure to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and shampoo. Heater, air conditioning and tv are working fine. No kettle/boiler, but maybe can check with the staffs. The location is quite strategic, around 500m walking distance to nagoya mall, around 2km-3km to harbour bay international ferry terminal, lots of alfamart/indomaret nearby, pharmacy (apotik), food stalls, easy access to get taxi and grab services. The price for one night stay is really cheap compared to other hotels in batam. Mine is around myr35/idr100.000 per night, standard room for 2 persons at 3rd floor, on january 2020. Room no 228 partly not able to turn, bathroom no hanger for hanging clothes no restaurant, sad the service very poor, regret staying compared to before covid time was to good, but know very bad.

Nice place to enjoy when visit wonderfyl Batam, its closed to the downtown and nearby has lots shopping mall, food court and many restaurants selling local food, I really expecting to come back again.

The towels are going to grey colour instead of white. TV channels are still blurry need to change to digital TV. The breakfast nasi goreng too much garlic used. Egg station no staff around.

Check in requires deposit. Limited carpark space. Small Room was not ventilated properly. Hotel corridor has some weird mouldy smell. Room was clean and tidy. Be prepared to face the noise at night as there was a night lounge at the rooftop. Loud music live band till 4-5am. Hotel good for youngsters not recommended for family with children or grandparents.

My taxi driver commented that driving to the front of the hotel to make a you turn is a bit dangerous, too steep. I ordered 2 breakfast, one Indonesian and one continental, food was wrongly served.
