Bagusinn Hotel

The room is very dirty.. spider everywhere, No water, in-delicious breakfast, no mineral water at room, dirty bed cover.. really completed

The recommended accommodation when you stay at Berastagi, North Sumatera.

was make a reservation for 3 pax. once we arrived Berastagi (about 1hr++ earlier) we called the hotel and they have allowed us to check in earlier. we arrived hotel but nobody at the registration counter/room. was waited and make a call to ask why nobody there etc for more then 30mins. the drama begun a moment the unfriendly front desk came. after registered, we realised that he only gave us a room for double with 1 double bed, 2 towels etc (everything for 2 pax). we did ask why we were given everything for 2 pax even though booking was make for 3 paxes and he said everything is for 2 (answered doesn't make sense at all). later, we went out for sightseeing and dinner. when we came back, we realised there is an empty room for 3 paxes. after begging, he allowed us to transfer to the appropriate room. another drama begun, toilet no water supply, water tab was broken, no hot water with that cold area etc. the next day, lousy breakfast was prepared also for 2 paxes (so upset and we didn't try the breakfast). honestly, the hotel and services are dammed bad with a unfriendly front desk. no matter what's the charges, money is not everything but the premises, services and communication between staff and guest etc must be in a proper way. furthermore, we had clearly make a booking for 3 pax.

Good service, good room, good place, have a mosque, wide parking area.

Albeit that the hostel is quite far away from the downtown, the information of the capacity could possibly mislead the potential guest, i.e. saying that the bed for 2 guests would be enough for 3 guests, it does not apply to the breakfast. Additional 1 person in a room for 3 guests would not be entitled for the breakfast. Nonetheless, the cleanliness and the services are okay.

It’s comfy, the hot water working, the room is clean

Hot shower was not well functioning, the bed was okay, quite comfortable, and the staff was also kind of helpful when u need something. The breakfast was fried rice, tasted okay like local taste.

A nice, friendly place to stay. Staff helpful, they took me to the bus when it was time to leave. Thank you!

1. They capped the water usage. Capping water usage for your paying customer?! They already failed the first step on "how to run a hotel". Every time I want to use the water, I have to request them. No longer than 10 mins after requesting, they shut it down. I have to make the request three times on that night just to use the water. Can you imagine? 2. along my stay in Indonesia I have booked 4 hotels and this is the most expensive hotels and the most lacking in facilities 3. their management didn't took much care about the cleanliness of the room. The water tank filled with suspended dirts. Leftover soaps from previous customer still there in the toilet. My daughter got bit by bed bugs during night sleep. 4. My room was appointed for 2 person stay, but I just got one towel and one soap. They did not provide any wardrobe. In the bathroom, they only got one water tape above the water tank for everything. 5. despite cold weather, they should consider to make available the water heater or kettle for the customer. Yet they didn't. 6. all we got was their extended building block beside the main hotel which was very lacking and grotesque.
