The hotel staffs were friendly, the check in process was smooth. The hotel located in one of the main street in the city, allowing us to reach a lot of destination, especially the culinary centres. It is just a few feet away from the Gunung Tidar tourist spot, a very convenient way to satisfy your morning work out by climbing into the steps of the not very steep hill (after the rain, the steps could be quite slippery). The hotel have a spacious parking lot for both automobile and motorbikes. It is also the last stopover for damri buses from Yogyakarta airports, so it will be no hassle should you just arrived or wanted to transfer to the airports. One down side is, their breakfast is very standard, as they only serve fried rice or fried noodle with coffee or tea.

The hotel is old. The staff is also old, wore worn-out t-shirts and lack of enthusiasm. Guests are smoking in the lobby. However, the price is cheap and the DAMRI buses (Yogyakarta airport shuttle) are based in this hotel, so easy to catch.

i don't feel safe being in the room, because of the ventilation wide open, has no glass and the room in the basement. there's no guest except me and the door after me. maybe it's better to call it as a homestay than a hotel. however the breakfast and the officers are nice.

It is indeed an old hotel, has a creepy ambiance, and all. However, other than that I think this hotel is quite charming, clean, and worth its price.
