I'm so happy to stay in the first night at Holiday Inn Express Semarang in room 1206, that's why I decided to extend another one night here. The cleanliness is excellent. The only problem is only coming from 2 things. 1st coming from the smell from the towel. Before I used the smell was like mold. And 2nd the guy in the front office not so nice compared to the girls and the young guy (I forgot his name, but I think he is the older) maybe it because when I coming to the reception I was wearing short pants, flip flop, and mess shirt. As a person who also works in hospitality please do not classify people by how they look. The guest is always a guest. Don't show them any fake smiles. But overall I love the food, the cleanliness, the security system from the entrance is amazing.

The location of the Hotel was so Amazing. They have sports stadium just behind the hotel with walk access. The location near by Simpang 5 park. It’s a good place also for walking or hang out during your stay on Semarang. The design of the hotel is good for myself. Simple and felt like home. The staff good and friendly. It’s the most points. Just have disappointed with the water shower. It’s worse because they have 2 ways. The water not really strong. When we have shower, the water will be go anywhere. And it’s not saving water. 😂 I staying on room 1112. If you can fix the water shower. I will be happy. Saving water is important. Kind Regards, Adi

The room is spacious for me, my wife, and my two kids. The location is very strategic, close to the mall (a walking distance to the mall). A supermarket is right across the hotel. Also, the hotel is a walking distance to alun-alun (city square) and Mesjid Agung Pekalongan (city's grand mosque). Parking space is a challenge, but the hotel staff managed car park so this shouldn't be an issue. It's a typical syariah hotel so you will hear the recorded islamic preach and islamic songs all the time in the hotel corridor. Prayer's mat and Al-Quran are provided in each room. Wifi connection is good. What I like most is its varied food during breakfast, and they all tasted so good. My most fav was Garang Asem. Thanks for providing a great experience during our stay in the hotel

Hotel yg secara lokasi menurut kami pas, di tengah kota, enak kemana-mana, dan area sekitar hotel cukup tenang. Sepertinya hotel yg terkenal banyak peminat, jadi lebih baik jangan reserve dadakan biar bisa pilih kamar sesuai keinginan. Tidak tersedia extra bed waktu kami menginap disana. Fasilitas kamar sesuai deskripsi. Interior kamar sepertinya bisa dirapihkan sedikit, ada lubang bekas kabel di area bawah TV yang ditutup seadanya aja. Kebersihan dalam kamar oke. Kalau ingin jemur sesuatu di area balkon kamar, perhatikan tetesan air dari AC kamar, karena lantai balkon kamar kami lumayan basah kena tetesan air AC. Staff cleaning service hotel cukup satset menanggapi request tamu. Menu sarapan tidak terlalu banyak varian, tapi rasanya enak. Tiap malam suka ada live music di area lantai 1, suaranya bisa jadi bocor ke kamar hotel. Untuk kamar kami sendiri cukup teredam suaranya jadi tidak terlalu merasa terganggu. Kami menginap beberapa malam btw. Ada fasilitas kulkas mini di kamar tapi kami hanya diberikan 1 kartu kamar. Setiap kami pergi dan perlu cabut kartu, tentunya listrik kamar akan mati. Repot ya, jadi ngga bisa nyimpan makanan/minuman dengan maksimal di kulkas. Kami sempat lapor ke resepsionis, tapi tidak ditawarkan kartu kamar tambahan, akhirnya kami memilih untuk kosongkan isi kulkas saja. Overall masih menikmati stay di hotel ini. We might come back. Terima kasih.
