Booked Executive Club Room with lounge benefits. Ignore Swissotel, if you like top-notch service. The only enjoyment of stay is great view in balcony and lounge. Positive: Location of hotel is great! I personally liked the initial fast email and call response, which I felt they honest (special thanks to Gita for arranging early check-in). Room is big, clean and nice with a great view, especially if get allocated to those with UOB/River or Harbour view rooms, which can see almost to the end of the Singapore. Pool and facilities are good to use, and there is also a Table Tennis and small gym on Level 65 lounge which is interesting. Lounge at level 65 is relaxing, and have variety of food in Buffet style for both breakfast and evening cocktail session. Negative: The service is at most 4* even as an executive guest, and seems like in short “hotel does not care much about you”. Check-in was done on the main lobby instead of lounge, and there was no welcome letter and gift, until we reminded so they brought to our room! [This is included in advertisements] Seems many of the rooms including ours have a frequent swishing noise which is from lift moving up and down, which might disturb some people but they do not acknowledge it easily. [They changed room to direct Harbour view and extended check-out. The noise was less frequent in the this room, but still could be heard. Although I appreciate this, the rectification process was not easy, and some of the talks made us very unease, uncomfortable and not felt welcome.] Lounge beverages is limited and not premium. Surprisingly at the end of stay although late check-out was confirmed, reception again called us to trace our check-out! Additionally, seems the pictures of views in website is inaccurate. Overall, we liked our stay for some parts, but the services is way below the Swissotel standards, and you may not feel very welcomed. I would not recommend Swissotel considering its inconsistent services for the price it charges. Instead you'd better consider its sister hotel which is much better!
