With all the respect to this hotel brand, I am really disappointed during my stay in here. I believe there is other Four Points hotel still good, but not in this hotel in Medan. Here is my explanation: 1. Check-in time take too long, I need to wait for 30 mins before my turn. It's only 1 person handle, while other staff still have a nap (I guess). After the queueing become long, then 2 staff coming to help. It was 2 PM that time, most of guest should start for check-in, but they are not ready for it. Even takes long time for check-in, the information also not clear. I will explain in point 2.2. I booked for king bed, but the only available is only king bed smoking room and twin bed non-smoking. I was asking, how about the smoking room condition, whether any bad smells. The reception said, of course still have some, but you can try first. A kind of answer that I am not expected. Then, she proposed for twin bed then combine to be one. No details explanation of it. Then I am agreed. But, after I entered the room, you can see the picture on how they managed it. They aren't mention that the small library on the center can't be moved. I was really piss off that time. 3. Flash back to before I entered the room, there is room service boy just came out from my room (after he arranged the bed) with banging the room door.? I never expected this kind of attitudes on the 4 star hotel. 4. The lobby on the second floor, the access was blocked by security for them to do check in. What made me more pissed off is wherever I back to hotel using Grab, they always priorities the one who will go to parking area. Even there is 2 security guards there. I always need to wait for 5 mins to wait them to came and open the access. Poor management services. Not recommended for you that will use Grab or taxi as a daily transportation here. The facilities is good, but not their management service. Very poor, I never got this bad experience in the 4-star hotel before. Definitely won't choose this hotel when back to Medan.
