Ibis Samarinda

This is my umpteenth time staying at Ibis Samarinda, as it's become a part of my routine when I'm on assignment in East Kalimantan. In fact, when my company holds its Planning Cycle, it's always at this hotel. Kudos to Ibis Samarinda.

Recommendations for a staycation with family, just pay attention to the time of cleaning the room so that it is not too noisy during rest time.

Good service, friendly staff, according to what we ordered, I ordered a top floor room and was actually given the top floor 16, and the view I got was cool.

The staff are friendly, the food menu includes fried tempeh and instant noodles.

My first experience, and it didn't disappoint at all. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and kid-friendly. I even got a fruit gift. Thank you so much to Ibis Hotel, it's now our family's favorite hotel in Samarinda.🥰

Overall it's good and clean, just a little improvement for the power sockets in room 807, many of them are loose, the charger often shakes and turns off

I had a very pleasant stay. I stayed at 1622, a hotel with stunning views of Samarinda both day and night. A special mention goes to the roommaid, Ms. Silvi. She was very friendly, efficient, and always kept the hotel clean.

The check-in and check-out process is not complicated, the room is clean.

The wifi is slow, and when the room above is being cleaned, noises can be heard from above.

The staff is very friendly, I will come back here again if I go on holiday to Samarinda.

I booked 2 rooms far in advance, when the check-in schedule was at 2:00 PM I arrived at 4:00 PM. Even then, I still had to wait for 1 room to be cleaned for about 30 minutes. When we arrived at our room, we were resting, suddenly an officer entered without permission with the excuse of delivering glasses (at least ring the bell/knock on the door) don't just enter with their spare key. & the AC wasn't cold + the lights kept flashing. As a result, it was only finished being repaired at 10 PM, the children were already sleepy & fussy. Room 1508, for children over 5 years old, charged for 1 adult. So 2 children aged 6 & 10 years old were charged for 2 adults. Even though they only ate cereal. While we were on vacation in another city, hotel regulations for children over 10 years old were charged for 1 adult. The officers were also unfriendly (at the restaurant & during check-out, they were unfriendly). Please fix this.

Please, the wifi is jammed...but overall everything is okay.
